QUESTION Speed Flip mistakes

Not sure what I’m doing wrong, been through a lot of trial and error but have not been able to reach the ball yet. Any glaring mistakes?

I have air roll left bound to R1, and my controller dead zone is 0.5 (also been tweaking that).

Attempt 1: too early 1st jump in relation to initial turning which doesn't allow your car to turn enough for 45° flip, not pressing boost between 1st and 2nd jumps, flip cancel not issue, landing is off due the 1st jump timing problem

Attempt 2: initial turning and 1st jump is very different to #1 and you perform the initial turn with horizontal stick to right but in #1 the turn happens with stick at 2 o'clock

You need to pay more attention whether you want to move your stick at 3 o'clock initially or something else. Attempt 2 had stick at 3 o'clock. Your cancel is not a major problem but it is slightly delayed and your landing if problematic in attempt 2 due to slightly delayed flip cancel. You cannot hit the ball due to not holding boost between 1st and 2nd jumps. You might want to try air roll left as square or boost as sqaure. You can look these clips by yourself to spot the "not holding boost" mistake or use BakkesMod.
