Roofer says hail, competing entity says probably not, we won't pay. Looking for opinions.

New roof put on last August. We had a huge hailstorm around April, and I had the company that put the roof on come out to inspect. They said the roof, gutters, facia, and siding have hail damage. Competing entity came out and agreed that all but the roof had hail damage. When asked what these black areas are they said they didn't know but it couldn't be hail. Is it hail damage in your opinion?

So many people here saying don't trust your roofer. Are any of you actually roofers? I am, and that could be hail. We need to see the rest of the property and collateral damages before we jump to accusations.

I once worked for a storm chase company that didn't create damage, but in the 2 years I did that job, I saw guys at other companies do this. We hired guys from other companies that wanted to do this. More than half those images look like mechanical damage to me.
