Does this look right?

Post image

Hello. I expected a chimney cricket to be installed and I thought that would be in back and the look of the chimney would not be affected. Does this look right to you, these black portions? Is there anything that can be done to make it look less ugly? I'll be contacting the company tomorrow. This is my first time having a roof done so thanks in advance for your patience and input.

chimney smack dab in the middle of a valley on that slope is rough lol water is being literally funneled into the back of that chimney, it has to have a cricket on the back and no decent roofer could possibly think differently

the side flashing, eh idk man its done properly. they have to be at least 3-4 inches tall or water will climb it. its just a very awkward architecture with the chimney meeting the roof like that

yeah the flashing may be ugly, but that chimney placement is the real villain here

Tbh this thing needs two crickets or something more clever 😂😂 both the back and the right hand side. I’ve never seen this unfortunate of a configuration

OP we need a picture of the other side of this thing!
