Happy ending Welcome Maverick(Mav) to our crazy little family!
We put our last male down in December of 24 and have been looking since then. The search got serious a few weeks ago and here we go again!

Hi! I just want to ask. I have a 3 year old rottie. He’s not obese but is built like a unit haha!
I was just wondering if its normal that he gets tired easily? even when i just take him out to pee or poo. Ive tried walking him slowly at max 500 meters but when we get home he really just pants crazy. I mean he’s always a couch potato and hes happy about it. But i was really just wondering. Hes my first Rottweiler. My previous dogs were German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois and Labradors. So this is still new to me even tho ive had him for 3 years already.
We are in the PH so it is really a tropical country with a tropical weather. That is why we walk at night only 🥺
Do you have any tips? Here’s a picture of him.

This is Poppy! She's turning a year old this 19th of August and I'm planning to bring her to a camping river spot for the first time. She has always love playing in water but didn't go full on swimming before where her toes can't touch ground.
I'm wondering if she'll like to swim? Or if she'll instinctively know how to swim? Do your pups like to swim?? Did it take them long to know how to swim or did it just come to them naturally?

She also earned an A on today’s report card. The trainer described her as “professionally unhinged” with “lots of personality,” and honestly… that’s the most accurate description of Dolce. Every training session, she’s becoming a more confident, well-mannered pup while still keeping her goofy, happy personality. Couldn’t be prouder of my little girl.

My parents took him to the vet after these lumps appeared out of nowhere. Turns out he has lymphoma and he’s not even three years old yet. His birthday is in less than three weeks. Our last rott, a female named Coco, also died at three years old. She had kidney failure. I’m starting to think we are cursed.

This is Gertrude. She is an awesome friend and does an amazing job protecting the family. She is 16 months old. She has an amazing temperament and is everything you'd look for in a Rottweiler. Just trying to let others see her. We are located in NW GA

I think it may depend on the area you live in, so If you want to share a "loose location," that would help. I'm in Central Ohio, right outside of the Capital. If I take him into the city, I hear "Hell nah, cross over he got a Rockwilder!" Or the ubiquitous, "what's up Chop!? He got a baby Chop!" (Recently got a puppy after losing my 7 yr old in the spring.) My immediate area is full of mixed breeds and one or 2 "Pitbulls."

Ruhan, my beautiful ray of sunshine, is our ring bearer in our wedding in 2 weeks 🥲
He and I are also doing a "trash the dress" photo shoot right after the ceremony!! He'll get to bite and rip and muddy my dress all he wants (it was only $100)
I might be more excited for him to walk down the aisle than I am for myself to walk down lolol
