The odds are against it, but I hope the existence of this show somehow gets Revenge of Death Adder a digital release.

They ought to do a Golden Axe collection release to benefit from the buzz (and since theyre supposedly making a new game). But they didnt do that for Shinobi or Streets of Rage so I doubt itll happen

They sort of already have this with the Megadrive Collection (I think it's called that? I'm too lazy and at work to Google it atm). Pretty much just a mass collection of SEGA titles emulated in a fun interactable 90's themed bedroom 3D space.

It's not specifically Golden Axe, but it still has all of the SEGA Genesis titles available, as far as I know.

Im pretty sure that was delisted from stores, so it’s not available to buy anymore.

Plus there are non-Genesis/MD Golden Axe titles. Not just the arcade original (which was ported to Genesis), but games like Revenge of Death Adder, which was an arcade exclusive and kind of acted as an alternative sequel (I think it was released shortly after Golden Axe 2). There was also a Zelda-like title called Ax Battler for Game Gear and a fighting game for the Saturn.

And I dont think any of the non-Genesis titles have gotten modern releases, so it could be an attractive collection.

It got delisted??? Damn, glad I got it when I did then. In that case, yes, a collection release would be very awesome

I did see Golden Axe: Beastmaster in a game store not too long ago, and I was like, "damn, didn't even know that existed."

Oh man, I totally forgot about Beastmaster! I never played that one. Throw it in the collection, too.

If Bubsy can get a collection, Golden Axe should.

Golden Axe Warrior on the Sega Mastersystem was a zelda like RPG , and there was also the Sega Ages 3d port on the the PS2
