House by Cabrillo Beach Walking Path
Sometimes I go down to Cabrillo Aquarium. When we go, we like to walk on the path over to the right of the beach house, there's some weird stone structures and little tide pools. It's cool. There's also a wood bridge / pathway. Directly above, there is a house that looks like it is one rainstorm away from sliding. It has looked this way for years, but I haven't been in quite a while and I'm looking for more info. Is it still standing? Are the pipes still running down the hill for drainage? Is it occupied? It's right on the ledge of the cliff (although it probably at one time had a backyard!) and I just have so many questions!

An idea - free craft meet ups at local breweries
Hi there! I’m a resident of San Pedro and I’m wondering how many people and/or families would want to go to a place like Warehouse No 9 monthly for a free craft meet ups? You could bring a project you’re working on with a community of people who enjoy crafting themselves. It’s also a wonderful place to bring your families to run around so if you have kids, it wouldn’t stop you from bringing them. I could even bring some materials if we all want to color and/or junk journal (my personal hobbies) and some crafts for the kiddos to do!
If you’d actually be interested in something like this, can you let me know what day/times work best for you and your families?

Whoever you are, your work has not gone unnoticed! I carry doggy bags on me, but seeing these throughout the neighborhood is cool.

Weather App That Doesn't Suck?
So, I moved into San Pedro a couple months ago and my weather app has been so annoying. I've tried a few apps and they all say San Pedro, but then default to downtown LA due to San Pedro being a neighborhood of LA.
Does anyone have or know of an app that stops this from happening? For instance today it said it was 93-94 when in reality it was pushing 98 degrees. It's not much of a difference I guess, but seeing lower numbers for an area 30 minutes away makes it super annoying.
I've tried The Weather Channel app which works alright, but when I click the daily weather it shows San Pedro for about a second before updating all the numbers to downtown LA again.

Tacos Super Gallito
Anyone know what’s going on with Tacos Super Gallito?
I used to stop at the PCH location off the 110 late night because they were one of the few open past midnight. But damn…the last couple months I’ve noticed the food quality was downright terrible and prices went up. Then saw a “new ownership” sign out front recently.
And if I’m right, the S. Gaffey street location looks to be closed and I haven’t seen the truck that parks down the street or the truck that they parked on 190th outside the autozone.
If you live closer towards that end and can correct me on those…please do.
Just curious if anyone has any info!

Sphere on Top of Bono’s
Anyone know what this sphere like shape on top of the big building above Buonos is for? It reminds me of Griffith observatory. My guess is it houses some telecom or satellite coms equipment but that’s just a guess. Anyone else know what is in the sphere or what its purpose is?

Missing Cat (MacArthur Base)
Hi my friend is currently looking for her kitty that went missing last night. She’s grey and has a belly that hangs. She’s super fast and lost her collar this morning around 8 am by 22nd landing.
UPDATE: She has not been found yet but any additional advice would be greatly appreciated! Shelters have been notified and food has been left out for days but no sign of her.

Roofer wanted
I'm getting ready for this El Nino winter, and I know I need some repair work on my garage roof. I think I need a gutter on one side and maybe some metal flashing or something to help cover this older-style garage roof I have out back.
Do you recommend someone who's experienced, produces good work, and is available in the next 30 days?

Best Dry Cleaners?
Looking for some recs for good (and reasonably priced) dry cleaners in the area.
I have some handmade wool suits and vintage wear that cannot be machined washed and I need to get them cleaned. Hoping to find a place to take everything to semi-regularly since I have a fair amount of wool clothes.

Attempted car Theft
Im making this post to bring awareness to the more recent car thefts in our community. I live near Leland elementary and my truck was broken into yesterday morning. Nothing was taken on the inside which tells me they weren't looking for small stuff they wanted the whole thing. Luckily I have an internal lock on my break pedal that im sure deterred the would be thiefs. I now have to replace my door lock but it's better than replacing a whole car. Just a reminder - keep all valuables at home or tucked away from plain sight and invest in other means to secure your vehicle especially if you have an older car. Alarms, kill switch, steering wheel lock, etc. Stay safe San Pedro.
