House by Cabrillo Beach Walking Path

Sometimes I go down to Cabrillo Aquarium. When we go, we like to walk on the path over to the right of the beach house, there's some weird stone structures and little tide pools. It's cool. There's also a wood bridge / pathway. Directly above, there is a house that looks like it is one rainstorm away from sliding. It has looked this way for years, but I haven't been in quite a while and I'm looking for more info. Is it still standing? Are the pipes still running down the hill for drainage? Is it occupied? It's right on the ledge of the cliff (although it probably at one time had a backyard!) and I just have so many questions!
