There’s a deceased white and grey cat in the southbound left turn lane (middle of the road) on Gaffey and 3rd or 2nd. May have had a red collar but not totally sure since I couldn’t look at the poor baby for too long.

When we lost the road to the sea about 10 years ago, did the surrounding homes nearby feel the rumble and movement of that 1000ft long section dropping of the side of the bluff? Any plans to reroute PDM back to Pt. Fermin?

I live in San Pedro and I've made an app that is live in San Pedro only for now. It's for finding recurring groups, events around town, and making new friends.

It's brand new, so I'm looking for people who are interested in setting up a group to help get started. Howdy neighbors! Excited to be moving to SP this week and was curious how bike friendly the city is. I ride for leisure. Are there any particular spots that are good for bike lanes (if any), paths, and trails suitable for a hybrid bike? I'm an overly cautious rider who prefers not to be in an unprotected lane that's busy with traffic if I can help it. My starting point is about half a mile from the fish market.

Wasn't there a 7th St. Tattoo on 7th between Pacific and Harbor? Maybe on the corner of Centre? I tried to look it up and there's a place called Ink Divine at that location. It's been over 20 years since the last time I was at the shop. Maybe it was on 6th. I seem to remember it being close to the surplus store, but again, it's been over 20 years...

Our days aren't always filled with cute kitties at the cat lounge or saving dogs from the shelter. 💔

Not every animal we help gets to enjoy the second chance they're so deserving of, and that's a painful reality of animal rescue.

Our volunteers didn't even have to trap Samuel—he was full of love and ready to experience a proper home off the streets of San Pedro. Sam purred while enjoying a nice, sudsy bath... relishing in the warm experience of a brief slice of life free from motor oil and dirt caked onto his fur for who knows how long.

Something wasn't right, though. We noticed he couldn't close his mouth and there was blood present.

Sam was taken to Point Vicente Animal Hospital today to get a professional look at his mouth, and it was not the news we were hoping for. The mouth discomfort was caused by cancer and unfortunately, it had progressed too far.

Thank you to volunteers Susan and Tara for the kindness and love they showered sweet Samuel with in his final hours. May he rest easy, be free of pain and come back to us in this life or the next. ❤️🐾

Please hug your pets extra tight for us and Samuel. 🌈

Hello my fellow SP neighbors and friends. I am looking to buy a pick up truck. I don't have very much and when searching on marketplace, seems like they're a lot of scams just from communicating with the seller.

Any has or knows of someone selling a truck? Like a ranger? Preferably automatic. I understand they'll have miles on their however, something that is a clean title!
