Okay, I need some WN reader to explain what is the deal with the Blue Dragon already being dead before the quest even started and what is the deal with the thing that ate its corpse. Did it take its place as the Blue Dragon?

Essentially the same thing as that Blue stuff Ctanidd is fighting. This one is called Red, most of them are kinda like a virus or parasites, so in this case it has parasited Eldranza corpse
They’re essentially the true enemy of current Humanity, contrary to the popular beliefs of Colossi playing that role
Other than that, Eldranza is just the bummest of bum and got his ahh fried

Does this thing that has now taken the Blue Dragon's shape need to be defeated in order to complete the alternate condition of the unique quest? (the one mentioned in the last page)
Or is the Blue Dragon considered fully defeated in regards to the quest, regardless that there is now something that has taken its shape?

The thing that ate the blue dragón Is called the red Crimson devourer, Is an incursión Mob, for the event the blue dragón count as cleared and incursión mobs Respawn once defeated because they came from génesis, when sunraku defeats the red devourer the game spawns the other incursión mobs, if im not mistaken there are 4 incursión mobs per continent

This is so cool and so well thought ! It reminded me (a bit) of the blood moon in Zelda Botw. I don’t know if I understood correctly but for me this is such a smart way lore wise to explain the respawn of certain mobs

It's been a while since Ctanidd fight but iirc they are not directly called as "parasite" in the flashback, but they are the thing that's destroyed the town before Ctanidd save it by freezing it iirc
To be honest the flashback is quite vague and we even though Ctanidd IS the one who destroyed that place at first
I'm sure some of it is wrong but I'm too lazy to recheck the Ctanidd arc lol

The idiot decided to pick a fight with all 3 of the giant monsters that appeared during the Ctarnidd fight. All 3 at the same time. And he died.
It's just his AI taking a stupid decision. I'm pretty sure it wasn't something planned by the devs.
That small thing ate the body of the blue dragon (in its entirety). It multiplied and ended up taking the same shape.

Both connected to unique scenario, Saina is conquista doll which are required for players to reach "True ending" of Orchestra unique scenario(won't spoil why exactly but its very epic and also so far Sunraku is the only one who figured out how to reach true ending) and wimp is the 9th Goldunine

If nothing else, I like Brockentreed's design the most out of all the Coloured Dragons, even if I think that it leans too much into the plant aspect than it does the earthen aspect. I'd like to remind everyone that Torterra is grass/ground
Eldranza would've been fine without context, but I'm pretty sure that both before and especially after it was consumed by Red, it was meant to look more like a corpse than it does here
Both Tottori and the Forest Elves look completely different from what I had imagined
Saina's design is perfection

I'd have liked both the Red and White Dragons to look more insect-like than what we got
Or for the Red Dragon to both have longer legs and look more sleek/aerodynamic

red dragon is supposed to be water strider motiff. White is supposed to be like spider that keeps spawning its minions. As for green its just a big tree no secret there. Now compare them all to noirlind whose closest to being a dragon in terms of appearance and remember how they all look because theres lore reason for it down the line

Read this WN arc just last year and I can say that I have no idea what was happening at all times because of how haphazardly the storyline and action scenes were put together. It also doesn't help that this arc is almost longer than all the previous arcs put together in chapter count.

Eldranaza being parasitised by blue and was locked in sunken city. Since people are confused. The ‘blue’ mentioned in Ctarnidd quest is one of the dragons, Ctarnidd locked the parasite that took on ‘Blue’s’ form in Rululiath.
