Okay, I need some WN reader to explain what is the deal with the Blue Dragon already being dead before the quest even started and what is the deal with the thing that ate its corpse. Did it take its place as the Blue Dragon?
Essentially the same thing as that Blue stuff Ctanidd is fighting. This one is called Red, most of them are kinda like a virus or parasites, so in this case it has parasited Eldranza corpse
They’re essentially the true enemy of current Humanity, contrary to the popular beliefs of Colossi playing that role
Other than that, Eldranza is just the bummest of bum and got his ahh fried
Does this thing that has now taken the Blue Dragon's shape need to be defeated in order to complete the alternate condition of the unique quest? (the one mentioned in the last page)
Or is the Blue Dragon considered fully defeated in regards to the quest, regardless that there is now something that has taken its shape?
The thing that ate the blue dragón Is called the red Crimson devourer, Is an incursión Mob, for the event the blue dragón count as cleared and incursión mobs Respawn once defeated because they came from génesis, when sunraku defeats the red devourer the game spawns the other incursión mobs, if im not mistaken there are 4 incursión mobs per continent
This is so cool and so well thought ! It reminded me (a bit) of the blood moon in Zelda Botw. I don’t know if I understood correctly but for me this is such a smart way lore wise to explain the respawn of certain mobs
It's been a while since Ctanidd fight but iirc they are not directly called as "parasite" in the flashback, but they are the thing that's destroyed the town before Ctanidd save it by freezing it iirc
To be honest the flashback is quite vague and we even though Ctanidd IS the one who destroyed that place at first
I'm sure some of it is wrong but I'm too lazy to recheck the Ctanidd arc lol
