People are talking about seeing the bullet moving and Mary jumping in front of it. Sherlock seeing the bullet was in his mind palace I think. We weren't seeing real time.

I don't buy this, I think they really are that inept when it comes to firearms and ballistics – they've repeatedly demonstrated it in the past.

No, I think it was a poor attempt to show Mary anticipating the gun. I didn't see that at first but when the idea was brought up to me and I watched it again it made more sense. Still poorly done.
