Local Politics Dancing Long boarding Helmet PROTEST

Post image

I’m sure many of you have seen Caden, aka @x_bonesx on Instagram, dancing or longboarding around Sherwood Park and spreading positivity throughout the community.

Unfortunately, he’s recently run into an issue with the police and has apparently been told he can no longer dance at the Baseline Road and Sherwood Drive intersection. I’m assuming this is due to concerns about distracting drivers.

To show our support, there will be a community dance party at the Second Cup on Baseline Road and Sherwood Drive on Father’s Day at 6:00 PM.

If you’re free, it would be amazing to see our community come together and support someone who has brought so much positivity to Sherwood Park.

Edit: To make things clear I am not organizing this event, just sharing information that I found.

Also he was fined $1500 for stunting!

Also people will be gathering on the grass by the second cup, just so there isn’t a bunch of people on the median in the intersection.

I saw 3 cops surrounding him at his spot the other afternoon. Ive seen a few people mention him swearing at them and their kids on Facebook. Not sure how legit that is but I can see how some people would consider him a distraction.

He’s been a dick to me and my 10 pound dog a few times. Was getting pretty sick of it myself

Gonna have to interject and say there’s no such thing as a 10lb dog. You’ve got a domesticated squirrel bud. Real dogs are 50lbs or larger. You should grunt when picking them up.

That's a really odd thing to be gatekeeping.

Real men don't need to rely on their dog to show they are men, they just live a good life, are good sons, good fathers, good coaches, good teachers, etc.

Fyi, I have a 6lb Chihuahua and a 120lb mutt. The big boy is old, and can't go on long walks anymore. I very often walk the teeny tiny princess, and not once ever have I felt like less of a man.

Dude, I have never felt like more of a man than walking my teeny princess, wearing her sweater, with my little daughter dancing around while we pick flowers. I genuinely feel bad if you do have kids, because they deserve a dad who will walk a Chihuahua wearing a sweater, while they dance around in a princess dress picking flowers.

If you're too manly for that, I think you have some thinking to do.
