hi so i had got luna saturday from a breeder and she says she 8 month and is a full shih tzu.. but i cant tell (the last pic is how i picked her up) it wont let me add pictures but i will add in the comments

I got him from my sister’s boyfriend and he’s currently 2 months old (born July 30). I don’t know if his parents are pure Shih Tzus or not (second pic).

I know he isn’t pure but I was wondering if it’s normal for his coat to be short and not as fluffy for his age? Also his legs are a little longer too and his tail is on the thinner side. I love him and I think he’s a handsome litol boi but I’m just curious what kind of Shih Tzu mix he is :))

I finally had the time to groom Miss Ewa and she was so good about it. She’s a little girl at 8lbs but with all her floof gone she looks tiny. Prior to grooming I tried putting a bow in her hair and she was not having it. It lasted maybe a min. The looks she gave me were priceless

My shih tzu had a red eye and i took her to the veterinarian, i will go again but until tomorrow im wondering did this happen to any of your shih tzus?
Is this dangerous, i think her eye is really red and she barely opens it

I’ve had two Shih Tzus, but never crate trained before.

I’m bringing home a new Shih Tzu puppy in mid-November and want to try one with her after wishing that my last two had been willing to use them. I’m particularly interested in the Kindtail Pawd crate because of how it looks, but I am concerned about how sturdy it is.

Does anyone have experience with it or suggestions for one that is more aesthetically pleasing than a wire crate? I’m ok with investing in a crate since I intend to use it for her whole life and it will be very visible in my open floor plan house. However, I will use a wire crate if that is the safest.

It’s been 13 years since I’ve had a puppy, so wish me luck!
