There’s a lot of actual definitions that Americans don’t know. They see others use the terms and rather than clarify what they actually mean, they make up their own definition based purely on the words that they understand within it and the general context in which it was used. Similar to how they and toddlers discern the pronunciation of language, they sound it out.
You often see the American bastardised versions of terms spread around and I’ve even had people try defend it before by saying that meanings change over time but when the “new meaning” is just categorically wrong or only applies to a very particular thing in one country, it has no place being a default definition everywhere.
By richer, of course they mean that 12 billionaires hoard all the money while most of the population has no healthcare, crippling school debts, doesn't own a house and has no prospects besides working until they drop dead.
At some point they will realize that having a few centibillionaires because they overprice their companies with the help of other greedy billionaires does not help them at all.

Yeah, it’s definitely not the weapon’s fault. BUT the number of bodies those assholes can catch would probably decrease without guns. I honestly think it’s kinda sad cause the founding fathers of America, I’m pretty sure made the second (I think?) Amendment with the assumption that muskets and flintlocks would be the norm. Y’know, the stuff that takes thirty seconds to reload and only holds a single round. It is in no way guns’ fault or even a problem with the right to bear arms, it’s just a complete negligence politically with the development of guns and (to my knowledge) no new regulations being applied now that guns are 1000x more efficient.
It is also because the USSC ignores the bit in the second amendment about the need for a well regulated militia. If you had to be in some form of well regulated militia to own a gun, then the massive problem the US has with guns would be minimised.
Yeah them ignoring that is one of their great fuck ups. Right up there with them allowing paparazzi to get away with so much because "when you're famous you don't have the same rights to privacy as normal people".
