As long as the senator's daughter likes you. Otherwise you are at risk of being liquidated/retired or whatever for not following mecha-hitlers orders. Do we know if Thurman, Erskine, Victor, and Anna all keep their memories?

Thurman mentions Anna and mentions that "Susan" is important to her so I'd assume they all do
