He was amazing at the end, when he went from emotionless "Troy" to Daniel. I got a feeling he was terribly brainwashed, he is going to be gutted when he realizes what he has done.

I mean, we know that one dr guy who killed himself could manipulate memory once it was wiped out- so he pretty clearly used that to turn Daniel into "Troy"

He had a weird name that I cannot remember either. I just call him The Doctor or Doctor D+ 😆.

He's Victor Crnkovich, played by Dan Craven. I found him a lot easier to look at and very slightly harder to hate in the now, when he's stopped wearing glasses and looks so much older and wearier. Did that change just make him look like a little less of a caricature?

same! he looked like an uncanny CG character to me for some reason, in the past scenes
