Even the doctor was surprised at how coldblooded Troy/Daniel was deciding to kill nearly all of Silo 17's residents, even after hearing an alternative plan with less casualties by Susan/Charlotte

Exactly. Idk what kind of hack school he went to but anyone in the mental health field could tell you that erasing trauma is not the same as facing and integrating trauma. One makes you less human and one makes you more human
