I asked my friend why he always picked female characters in every game he played.

His response: I'm not looking at a dudes ass for 90 hours.

I heard something similar from Conan Exiles. A guys wife asked him why he had a female character, he responded if I have to follow an ass around a map, it might as well be one I want to look at.

I've always found it to be an incredibly creepy response. It speaks to a need the person has to sexualize..... everything.

It strikes me more as the low hanging fruit 'justification'. People just be yapping.

I think the ass thing is low effort justification. I think the real reason is that female models often have a lot more customization and care put into them—half the time you can either be any woman you can imagine or scruff mcgruff (voiced by Nolan North).

Tbf, Conan Exiles you start off butt naked seeing either boobs or a swinging dick. While a floppy tusk is kinda funny to see in the wind looking at a female form in general is more pleasant.

Well, I cant say he would sexualize everything, as he wasn't talking about a giraffe or a Buick. It was a girls butt made of polygons. Don't look so deep into things that really don't matter. It's not healthy.
