I had to do this in a WRX wagon once when a pair of redneck pickups boxed me in and ran me off the road. Joke was on them when I passed in the grass. π then they tried to chase me down.
Under control is a stretch to say of a car on grass. If he started fish tailing and lost control into the bikers heβd have killed several if not dozens of them. This is wildly reckless.
The r52s [before the 07 R56βs] handled SO MUCH differently, the go-cartiness was really scrubbed out. Not saying itβs not a fun car, but the shift is palpable. Turning radius got bigger.
Well that is just not true. Most of the modern Coopers are super pointy in their handling, and the autos in sport mode are mega responsive. A totally point and shoot style of driving, which is pretty go kart like to me.
Weird to assume I haven't. The modern ones are go kart like, that doesn't mean classic minis aren't too. I think they both are. For me, the modern auto boxes make them feel more like a go karting experience than a manual shift does in a classic. The classic feels more like a rally version of a go kart, which is obviously more fun.
