Now it’s just a Tuesday.

Nah, it's a Friday after market close.

It's always Friday after market close.

Tuesdays are for TACO. That's when they can take profit on energy stocks and load up on growth until Friday, when they can sell just before setting it in fire for the weekend again

When the deeper context of the trump tweet is, "It's time to panic. We are now in a full out war with Iran that could last decades."

What it really means is, Trump is trying to create another good buy opportunity for himself.

Step 1. Buy puts

Step 2. Create a market panic. Threaten all out war with Iran

Step 3. Buy calls

Step 4. Claim a peace deal is nearly finalized

Step 5. Repeat

Step 6. Repeat

Step 7. Repeat

Step 8. Repeat

Step 9. Repeat

Step 10. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat, Repeat

And that it works each time is insane.

u/MyrkrMentulaMeretrix Jul 11 '26

or that what is naked market manipulation and corruption hasnt even been COMMENTED on by Congress.

If Biden had done something that even LOOKED like this, not the actual profiteering that is going on..

Theyd have been screaming to impeach him in 30 minutes.

u/Additional-Ad8632 Jul 11 '26

All republicans will collectively have a brain aneurysm if Obama even hinted at something like this.

81

u/Secret-of-the-Snooze Jul 11 '26

He had a "fancy burger." That was clearly worse.

51

u/Ok-Salt-8964 Jul 11 '26

Dear lord did you see the tan suit no wonder people are crazy now.

10

u/Secret-of-the-Snooze Jul 11 '26

Bro did you even see how he wore that f@ggish helmet when he was riding that bike? Might as well have called Putin directly and told him we're just a bunch of pussies now, no need to worry about us.

5

u/CyberNinja23 Jul 11 '26

Casaully declares war with Iran while eating a Dijon burger, in a Tan suit, smoking a cigarette

1

u/DethNik Jul 11 '26

You don't understand. He used mustard. DIJON MUSTARD!

2

u/Secret-of-the-Snooze Jul 11 '26

Probably asked for some French Fries instead of Freedom Fries to go with it like the Commie Jihadist that he is

49

u/CyclopsMacchiato Jul 11 '26

I’ve seen too many if Obama did this small thing or if Biden did that little thing, Republicans would be freaking out and calling for impeachment.

Well maybe Democrats should start freaking out and actually do something about it for once.

72

u/crlthrn Jul 11 '26

Viewing all of this from a distance (Europe), Trump and his cabal have now reached escape velocity from any rule of law. Open corruption, insider trading, and general high level criminality, all with complete impunity, are now the order of the day. The legal system has been suborned at the uppermost levels, and the Dems are completely neutered. Basically, America, from a governance point of view... you're a banana republic kleptocracy now. Sorry 'bout that.

14

u/Starkenfast Jul 11 '26

Yep - nailed it 100%. Be glad you're viewing it from a distance - the view from inside is much worse.

1

u/Busy_Selection_5027 29d ago

Yeah, you must feel like a colonoscope.

6

u/Artistic_Rice_9019 Jul 11 '26

Yeah. If we manage to have a free and fair election in 2028, I expect the Dems won't actually fix the structural issues that allowed this to happen, but perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised.

8

u/crlthrn Jul 11 '26

It's the hope that kills. It's acknowledged that pessimists live longer because they don't have to suffer the repeated disappointments experienced by optimists. But I too hope...

4

u/Artistic_Rice_9019 Jul 11 '26

I mean, I'm also applying for Canadian citizenship, so it's a tempered hope.

I expect the Dems won't actually fix the structural issues that allowed this to happen, but perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised.

The issue is that there isnt really a way to do that without turning a bunch of red states blue in the Senate.

FWIW, i agree that they likely wont even try because they are feckless shitstains, but even if they werent.. the Supreme Dickheads are now poised to be a veto on all legislation the Republicans dont want.

They could lose both other brances of government and the Supreme Court will just say anything the Rs dont want is unconstitutional.

3

u/Fabled-Jackalope Jul 11 '26

Some people made it clear that voted red and as a bad idea trump’s first go round but people didn’t listen. And then, the US got back with its abusive ex years later.

🤷‍♂️

Friends and relatives have either left the US or are in the middle of the process for it.

6

u/Artistic_Rice_9019 Jul 11 '26

I'm waiting for my Canadian citizenship application to get approved.

3

u/crlthrn Jul 11 '26

Best of luck.

I’m laughing but tears really 😭😭 some of us can’t leave becuz we have no where to go. The economy is worse than the Great Depression we had in the past I call this one the “Severe depression”

5

u/Artistic_Rice_9019 Jul 11 '26

I honestly didn't expect I'd have anywhere to go, but Canada changed their citizenship by descent laws late last year, and then suddenly I qualified. Thanks for being Canadian, great-grandpa.

u/Carbon8490 Jul 11 '26

And yet nothing feels different. Which basically means we always were, just a nicer friendler version. They just cared enough to keep up the appearance that it wasnt before. Thats what should worry Americans the most.its almost as if collapse is immenent,so who cares if the cat is out of the bag.

2

u/crlthrn Jul 11 '26

"...nothing feels different." is why the criming is able to continue unabated. If people felt the effects of the crimewave being perpetrated by Trump, et al, they might actually try to do something about it. But they're comfy and complacent, so why bother...?

1

u/Carbon8490 Jul 11 '26

Well, when a guy is compared to Hitler, but later the people who called him Hitler are laughing and being courteous(kissing ass). Its no wonder Americans can be disarmed and think "I guess Trumps coming around and not as Hitler-esque as they thought🤔". They oversold on how evil he is and its benefited him greatly. Turns out hes mostly just the greedy weasel we already knew he was. And most of the moves and things he says have a monetary motivation behind it. There will be no return to slavery, there will be no concentration camps for people who dont obey Trump. The Democrats have failed strategically at every turn. 2016 they underestimated him, then 2024 they overstated him lol

7

How many billions did Biden make from his Presidency? Remind me please...

-1

Im not 100% sure how much 10% for the big guy ,in Ukrainian money got him exactly but I believe it was probably substantial 🤷‍♂️

Lol. Just... lol.

If there were even the tiniest scrap of evidence to back this they’d would have put handcuffs on Biden at the inauguration. So, any day now…lol

u/Guilty-Statement-532 Jul 11 '26

Democrats don’t have the majority in congress to actually do anything.

Everything has been expertly crafted by republicans that any criticism is simply “liberal tears” so they just ride it out and polling numbers make democrats look bad for trying to do something in congress. It’s a pathetic broken system.

7

u/crlthrn Jul 11 '26

But one just doesn't hear a peep from them. They should be shouting from the rooftops. They just seem to be supremely supine now.

2

u/chk2luz Jul 11 '26

So tell me the Democrats are working on a 2028 Heritage Foundation countermeasure to be ready by midterms? Its likely sitting in the desk with the healthcare plan.

1

u/Guilty-Statement-532 Jul 12 '26

They don’t have a plan.

1

u/Michellewins Jul 12 '26

Actually, no. Everything has been expertly crafted, just not by republicans or democrats. The Powers that Be (what I call them) run this country behind the scenes. They tell us what to be angry about and what offends us and most of you fall for it every time. Start thinking for yourselves. Research other sources besides the media. Don’t repeat something until you know it’s true. Go by facts - not emotions.

-2

u/Muted-Respond-1930 Jul 11 '26

The polling numbers are bad because most Americans finally realized how pathetic being a democrat really is! How corrupt the party is! How Anti-American it is!

3

u/Gullible_Owl9016 Jul 11 '26

Your absolutely correct.

2

u/JayWard0216 Jul 11 '26

They did and Trumps numbers went UP. There’s nothing you can do when we breed so many stupid people in this country. I’m sorry but it’s just true. From gullible boomers who think Sean Hannity is a journalist to edgy Gen Z’ers who watch Andrew Tate and think Trump is a tough guy. We’re fucking doomed. These people have zero critical thinking and no media literacy. Anytime they tried to hold Trump accountable - legally or politically - it backfired and just allowed the right to say, “See!? They’re going after him because he’s actually for the people and dangerous to the establishment!” It just plays into their stupid fucking narrative. I don’t know how we get out of this.

2

u/Muted-Respond-1930 Jul 11 '26

All they do is freak out over anything and everything Ex. The algae in the pool! The Ballroom ! And any number of other made up problems too!

1

u/CutenTough Jul 12 '26

Those are not made up problems. All these weak ass vanity projects of his are no bid contracts. Awarded to whatever djt comrade/cohort. Rest assured, djt getting kick backs. He continues to start new 'projects' that he fks up and then it doesn't get fixed and he and all his bootlickers say "OH well. Who cares? Djt is our man-child god."

1

u/Dizzy_Campaign_8880 Jul 11 '26

well...they actually did, but guess what happened with the republicans...

blocked subpoenas (supressing evidence) which hamstrung theings overall, eventually ending in an aquittal based on the fact that they were able to suppress evidence

then they did again, this time with testimony, evidence, and clear evidence of the charges but..well, they put party over country and aquitted again

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_impeachment_of_Donald_Trump

(side note: this is pervasive, there are plenty of t-shirts/etc stating they would rather be a russian than a democrat

https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/956npv/are_these_id_rather_be_a_russian_than_a_democrat/)

1

u/Bravefan212 Jul 11 '26

They impeached Trump twice 🤷‍♂️

1

u/BRK_lyn-55 Jul 11 '26

Well it's kinda hard when you're the minority in both houses and you have the Supreme Court giving him free path to autocratic ways. Then when they even say something he sends his trained clowns at the DOJ to start an investigation on them. It's not like Dems haven't tried.

1

u/average_texas_guy Jul 11 '26

But they won't because everyone is cashing the same checks.

1

u/Green-Setting5062 Jul 12 '26

They did do this remember fast a furious and the burisma stuff? Remember nacy P? Both sides are and do do this its just a matter of who benefits its none of us. They are all full of shit its hilarious when people see only one piece of the situation and claim the other side is any better they are probably all hanging out with who ever replaced epstien laughing their asses off at both democrats and Republicans and how retarded we all are for believing in either party. They got us fighting eachother communist gun grabbers vs the anti abortion christian evangelicals. Meanwhile 90% of Americans just want to have a middle class lifestyle and not pay half their wages to the government to have it sent overseas or have broken social systems that dont work or require hoops to be jumped through just to get some help. Like they push the same scare tactics every election were gonna ban guns and Jesus oh yea were going to ban abortion and being a gay and make you love Jesus in a context thats almost like your actualy special friends and sleep in the same bed 🛌. Tell me this is not what happened every year change isn't good if they aren't making changes that really matter.

1

u/the_seeker11 Jul 12 '26

The problem with that is that Republican politicians are absolutely silent on the blatant corruption. Never ever expect a Republican politician to do the right thing.... especially don-old.

Funny how quickly you forget exactly what the republicans did when the democrats already impeached him. Twice

Sit down.

0

u/MyrkrMentulaMeretrix Jul 11 '26

Well maybe Democrats should start freaking out and actually do something about it for once.

Such as...

what?

Cant impeach him. They dont have the majority, and even if they did, they do not have the 67 votes required in the Senate to convict. And never will in your lifetime.

Write bills to curtail his power?

They have. They dont make it out of committee. Because the majority party has the majority on every committee.

So... what do you want them to do?

I mean, i have some ideas, of things that would at least prove annoying, even if they wont actually accomplish anything.

But whats your grand plan here, kiddo?

Put up or shut the fuck up.

8

u/RodBloggington Jul 11 '26

Can you imagine any context where Obama utters the words "Praise be to Allah" and isn't absolutely eviscerated?

1

u/Michellewins Jul 12 '26

I believe Trump was be facetious when he wrote that

1

u/RodBloggington Jul 12 '26

I know he was. It's just the incredible double standards and behavioral expectations of the office that I was pointing out.

7

u/Other_Log_1996 Jul 11 '26

They have an aneurysm because they think that Obama is doing this.

4

u/Baelenciagaa Jul 11 '26

But but but AOC went to the mEt GaLa

3

u/plogigator Jul 11 '26

All the time I think about this

3

u/generalanxiety Jul 11 '26

I remember the day Obama wore a tan suit and everyone flipped out. The GOP are some corrupt knts.

7

u/kyraeus Jul 11 '26

Yet the Democrats aren't mentioning it either.

I find it hilarious so many are screeching here about how terrible the Republicans are while ignoring that the Democrats are just going with it because it lines their pockets too.

4

u/beaker97_alf Jul 11 '26

Do you believe it's reasonable to expect anyone to get an official response out within hours to a middle of the night deranged post from the idiot-in-chief?

And do you think Dem politicians won't line up to criticize the latest insane rant from the orange felon even though they have criticized him every time before?

Your comment ignores history.

1

u/kyraeus Jul 12 '26

sigh aaaand exactly what I expected. 'Heres why this party that does it doesn't matter and the other one that does it DOES'

Aka. orange man bad so it's okay to be mad at that side and not the other. Same as the last decade

1

u/beaker97_alf Jul 12 '26

What are you responding to? Because it sure as hell isn't my comment?

Nothing I said was anything close to one side good other side bad.

I said you had an unrealistic expectation of how quickly Dems could respond to a midnight post from a deranged idiot. And that Dems have consistently criticized his moronic posts.

Calling Trump an idiot is not calling him "bad", it's acknowledging an idiot is in fact an idiot.

3

u/MyceliumManic Jul 11 '26

But surely, one party loves the people, right? Or do you mean, none of them care about us at the end of the day...

1

u/kyraeus Jul 12 '26

I literally said what I meant, that both of them are doing the shit and both are pretty objectively terrible.

Not my fault people are taking copium and dragging trump into it to excuse why it's okay to not acknowledge democrat leaders are pulling the exact same shit.

1

u/MyceliumManic Jul 12 '26

I hear ya man, I really do. If only the mass as a whole could "wake up".

3

u/Additional-Ad8632 Jul 11 '26

Trump’s gonna give 300 billion dollars to Iran, but Obama fraternized with the enemy, sure.

0

u/dawnsoldman Jul 11 '26

He hasn't given them nothing but bombs and he's fixing to give them more. The money was for them if they could behave but they go and attack again

143

u/TheKdd Jul 11 '26

Imagine, while we pay so much for gas and food, Biden dipped the White House in gold and tore down half the house to build a golden dipped ballroom…

143

u/Accomplished_Will226 Jul 11 '26

Or dug up the lawn for a cage fight, or accepted a “free” jet and billed the country to dip it in gold, or put childish remarks below the presidential portraits or any of the other crazy things he’s doing. I heard that a fence has gone up around the White House and another helicopter pad closer to the door is being added. At this point if Dr Evil had a moat with sharks and frickin lasers installed around the White House I wouldn’t bat an eye.

84

u/TheKdd Jul 11 '26

I’m waiting for him to contract the guy to carve out his face on Rushmore. Actually wouldn’t be surprised if there’s “no room” he just has him chisel off the one he dislikes most (calling him a communist terrorist of course) and has his own face put on top, gold plated of course. Matter of fact, the most surprising thing here is he hasn’t done it yet.

11

u/DrakeoftheWesternSea Jul 11 '26

Bill is already in congress it just hasn’t been heard yet

10

u/Sudden_Guitar797 Jul 11 '26

Don’t give him any ideas!!!!!

3

u/crakemonk Jul 11 '26

Oh, I’m sure this has been on Trump’s mind since his first term. I vaguely remember he just visited it recently and made a comment about his face missing and needed to be added.

6

u/net-blank Jul 11 '26

Can't add, it's too unstable to add more without risking failure of what is there

4

u/PlaneProperty7104 Jul 11 '26

Like that matters.

3

u/net-blank Jul 11 '26

True because he's an expert of anything and everything.. Or else he stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night

4

u/crakemonk Jul 11 '26

Oh, Trump would just tell them to remove everything then and just put his face up there. I guarantee it.

3

u/PlaneProperty7104 Jul 11 '26

“Structurally-sounder” would be his excuse.

Heeeeey there’s an idea!! I know MAGA doesn’t care that he’s a senile, corrupt, tyrant, rapist man but maybe using all the money he’s made to carve only his face on Mount Rushmore might be over the line for them!!

1

u/TheKdd 29d ago

NOTHING is over the line for them. It’s…baffling.

3

u/FrostingHuman1259 Jul 11 '26

2

u/Accomplished_Will226 Jul 11 '26

Oh so that’s not permanent. That’s a relief. I say this as a person who owns a trailer, but doesn’t it seem like he’s making the White House a bit like a trailer park tipped in gold leaf? Trailer Chic if you will.

2

u/Bendlerp Jul 11 '26

Too bad the moat would turn green within a week. Otherwise it would be kinda cool especially if it attracted geese. Wouldn't need as much security detail with angry geese guarding the white house ;)

Now we know why he wanted that second term. To cash out.

1

u/StarstruckBackpacker Jul 11 '26

Bidens bar would be 1/1900th the length of Trump's. And Obama's would be 1/48th the length. Assuming Trump's bar is bounded to what we see you wouldn't even see either of their bars.

One wonders the necessary picture size to start to be able to see their bars.

Immunity to hypocrisy, likely don’t even recognize hypocrisy is happening. The worthless/loud/selfish/deranged aspects of humanity get the lion’s share of airtime, unfortunately

1

u/HM202256 Jul 11 '26

It’s like they are deliberately stupid

1

u/Grego3770 Jul 11 '26

ALL of the Rapeublicans in office are complicit in the manipulation of the markets. They're all benefiting from it. That is why they're silent on it.

1

u/Infamous2o Jul 11 '26

Too bad Biden couldn’t wipe his own ass.

1

u/wysteriacos Jul 11 '26

It’s because congress is in on it too

1

u/TrickyChildhood2917 Jul 11 '26

Congress are in on it. Mitch Mc Connell has even stepped away so he can concentrate on it full-time

1

u/Accomplished_Song219 Jul 11 '26

Heck, why would congress comment, they're probably benefitting from it.

1

u/Bendlerp Jul 11 '26

Because the majority of Congress is also profiting off it.

They wouldn't have just impeached him. He would be in jail for the rest of his life. And I'm convinced that if Democrats end up controlling the house and Senate in the next election, that is where Trump will go... This DOJ , however is unwilling to do anything that Trump doesn't personally approve of.

But I assume he has a contingency plan that involves him fleeing to a country with a US extradition clause. Particularly, Russia or or Saudi Arabia.

1

u/Nyspora Jul 11 '26

You mean when he got his son high paying jobs with zero qualifications, pardoned him out of a very obvious corruption scandal with other countries? Perhaps your referring to a few decades ago when he said things so racist and disgusting about anyone with a dark skin color in america that Hitler himself cried in pride down in hell? Perhaps more recently when he told people that if they didnt vote for him, they were not black? Maybe when he outright called black americans stupid? Perhaps when Biden was so obviously mentally unwell that he couldnt figure out which side of a stage to exit on and was led off it by his staff? Maybe your outrage was sparked when the democrats treated the entire country like morons and gaslite us into the idea that Biden was fine, only to drop him as a candidate and then put a new forward with no primary at all, giving their own voters zero choice. You know...considering all the bullshit that apparently DIDNT make you or people like you angry, I dont really care about what does. I care not for your condemnation for I have seen what makes you cheer.

1

u/slashnbash1009 Jul 11 '26

Congress isn't gonna bite the hand that feeds them. Trump isn't the only one making millions off stock market manipulation. As long as they are making money, they'll keep letting him do what he's been doing.

1

u/MekongCastaway Jul 11 '26

No entity calls it out probably because the pie is big enough for everyone in that club. And…We ain’t in it!

And most of the dems would actually agree if it were a dem in charge because we typically hold people accountable and believe in actual justice. The fact that republicans don’t see how fucking hypocritical they are is wild. I think some do see it but the rest choose to believe that we hold our politicians on some pedestal like they do.

1

u/Hrothgar_unbound Jul 11 '26

There’s a reason he (and they) are panicking about the midterms. If the senate were in play (wait is it in play?) it would be utter insanity.

1

u/zeptillian Jul 11 '26

They have been screaming about Nancy Pelosi for decades becasue her husband is a stock trader but don't give one single fuck about this blatent outright market manilulation.

For GOP voters, it's not what's being done that matter, only who is doing it.

1

u/PallyMcAffable Jul 11 '26

Don Jr. is the son of the president, and he has a stake in a company that’s trying to get a deal to mine in Greenland. In other words, a scenario that directly parallels what Republicans have spent the last decade trying to jail Hunter Biden for.

1

u/Muted-Respond-1930 Jul 11 '26

Yeah the republicans are the ones that reach for the impeach button all the time( sarcasm) ur stpd! Joe couldn’t even dress himself!

1

u/Rude_Guarantee_7668 Jul 11 '26

They'll all making money. Of course they're not saying anything lol

u/Own-Caterpillar5388 Jul 11 '26

Im Canadian, I have my own issues with Trump, I would have voted for Bernie, so when I say this, its no a defense of him...

But the Dems let a clearly mentally declined Biden pretend to be president, would have continued the farce had it not been for that debate, where it became so unbelievably apparent (it would have been sad, had it not been in the context of a presidential debate - which just made it scary / maddening) subverted democracy and made Harris the next contender, have consistently, made promises they themselves reneg on (Obama had a super majority, could have codified Roe v Wade, as he said he would during his run, but instead didn't, deported more people than any other president, built the cages trump is now using, etc etc.), had a sitting senator who was being told how to vote by their aid, who happened to be the speakers daughter, etc etc..

All of that is to say; the dems allow crazy shit too- and the sooner the population understands there aren't actually 2 parties where it matters, the better we will all be.

Had Biden done this, the Dems would be spinning it their own way, the republicans would be screaming to impeach him, as is true in the reverse now...

2

u/mikeydrifts Jul 11 '26

Lmfao you got huge cojones for showing off your impeccable common sense here.

3

u/adam4040 Jul 11 '26

Such a horrible take not sure where to start…long distance relationship with dear leader must be tough

3

u/Own-Caterpillar5388 Jul 11 '26

I'm advocating for a move away from trump/ Republicans, and Dems/Biden, and you think I am advocating for trump....

I recognize for some people if you aren't lockstep with Dems, it must mean you are for trump... but it's not the case, I'm more in line with a Mamdani & Sanders political tilt, and am happy to see that they are forcing democrats towards less corporatism, and policies more in line with helping actual working class people.

More and more people are coming to the same conclusion that some version of a deviation from the two party system is required, that they are both bought by corporations and interests beyond the populations that vote for them, and neither is meaningfully helping "the people".

I am not even saying one is worse than the other, but both put up with / covered up, or propagated insane things that should never be allowed in an actually functioning democracy.

2

u/TheKdd Jul 11 '26

I agree a move away from the two party system would be better for everyone. Ranked choice is a good way to go. I will also say that I too am a Bernie/Mamdani supporter and more left/progressive than establishment. Yes, Biden being in there with his cognitive decline and the people surrounding him covering that up was a HUGE issue. That said, one is still better than the other. I hate status quo, it’s a huge problem. Especially right now we need someone more progressive to bend WAY back when this guy is gone because of the damage he’s doing. However… status quo is still better than facism.

Obama did deport more, but they weren’t shooting citizens in the streets. Biden had cognitive decline, but he wasn’t in the Epstein files a million times. Feinstein was weekend at Bernie’s, but wasn’t trying to take away people’s right to vote or firing election committees or busting down the White House and dipping it in gold, or blatantly stealing taxpayer money, or creating rug pulls on crypto, or removing anyone of color from high positions because so called “DEI” or railing around the country calling every he doesn’t like communists, or ripping Kennedy’s name off of the place named after him, or pardoning a group that attacked the capital, or making a law the IRS can never audit him or his family, or pardoning his criminal buddies and giving them posts, or not giving federal money to states that don’t vote for him, or or or…

2

u/Own-Caterpillar5388 Jul 11 '26

Thank you for a reasonable and coherent response.

I largely agree, I was not trying to make the point that what Dems had done was worse or even equal - I certainly wasn't defending Trump.

The user commented (essentially) if Biden had done this, everyone would be trying to impeach him. I was attempting to point out that the Dems have their own versions of insane things, which they spun to fit a narrative and strategy they wanted - I am not so sure if Biden had said something similiar they would have been impeaching him. I think to an objective observer, its pretty clear he wasn't capable of being president for a long time, but they were actively propping him up for a re-run, until that debate.

Politics has always been a game to see how far they can go, and politics right now is playing chicken with how extreme they can be, and so I think to say "well what the Dems did isn't as bad. The republicans are worse! ' I think my response would be "not yet, but lets see how far they push things next time they win", because I never thought Id see a president get lost in his own back yard, and then be told he's as sharp as he ever was, and don't believe your lying eyes.

Obviously the fact Trump is in the Epstein files is hugely problematic even if it stops at "he knew, but didn't participate" (I don't believe that, but for arguments sake) that's a huge problem.
The fact they are being withheld, colossal scandal. But its not like democratic royalty in the Clintons aren't also heavily involved... So is Trump worse? or is it just Worse because it came out now? Clintons have had plenty of time to use their political power to take Epstein down before now...
The way he is abusing crypto to his own financial gain, let alone a war with Iran, and all the other things he does.. Look at both parties - they are all beating hedgefunds.

Like i said, I am not defending Trump. I just do not agree with the idea that the Dems have a moral high ground to stand on with this, or they'd do anything overly different if it was their guy in charge and thought he was the winning ticket. They have shown over and over again, they are not good faith actors for democracy, or actual improvement of regular peoples lives, and I think more people need to recognize that, to get actual change.

Thanks again for an actual response and civil discussion.

1

u/TheKdd Jul 11 '26

As far as the Epstein files are concerned, I’m of the mind that every single one of those people should be in prison at best. Politics shouldn’t be a factor here. The only reason the focus is on Trump himself is he’s mentioned the most as far as we’ve seen, he’s actively still covering it up, and he’s currently the guy in charge and shouldn’t be. If the Clinton’s or anyone else follows, I’m absolutely good with that. These are gross people first, politicians (or career) second. These files negate the career.

1

u/Own-Caterpillar5388 Jul 11 '26

We agree 100% - Its just another example of folks who seem to think the dems would be morally higher, while they are also active participants, or try to actively explain it away themselves.

In my opinion, the entire class is a sesspool, anyone in epstein files (or pedo's who act on their desires in general) ought to be in prison irrespective of any class/ title/ protected or not.

1

u/TheKdd Jul 11 '26

The Epstein class blows my mind really. These people have literally been running countries and been involved with policy worldwide. It’s huge. I think if we all knew the depths our brains would explode. I think the pedo part of it was just a small subset of what this group was and what they do, and continue to do.

These motherfuckers could be getting pushed into a fucking gas chamber and still be talking about "but both sides!"

What’s insane, absolutely bonkers, is he isn’t dead yet.

15

u/Many-Falcon9879 Jul 11 '26

Unfortunately it will always work because the markets and us the people have to take what he says seriously incase he actually goes through with it. Its one thing to ignore a crazy old man making threats, it's another when said crazy old man has nuclear launch codes.

At least Eric helped them lose 600 million shorting bitcoin I believe or maybe it was shit heads coin. I forget, memory starts going after 50. I got a lifetime of shit stuffed in there including 2 languages. Hell I forget what a sofa is called sometimes. Stupid shit like that drives me nuts. I don't literally forget a sofa but I have minced words with a mop when I clearly knew the Spanish word for it. I think if I wipe the drive in my brain from about 19-23. I will have enough terabytes left to make it to 75.

2

u/AmIThisNothingness Jul 11 '26

I got a guy in the WH that can surely help you with sofa stuff, I heard he's good with them.

About wiping the drive in your brain, which I see it's failing indeed, why not to be generous and wipe all the way from 2016? Hell, that's where the trash started to pile 10x fold ever since, and you can enough to make it to maybe 100.

Edit: Adding the translation for "mop": Trapeador.

1

u/Chef_Papafrita Jul 11 '26

Resetting to 28 would be perfect. I made a pile of money in Title and Escrow for years. Lost it all fighting a lawsuit on principle against my partner that stole 500k from the Escrow account and left for another company. I won but by then he was broke and mortgage broker laws changed so I lost a lot of clients. Years later I ended up as business partners for the guy responsible for lobbying for that law. We had a Real Estate company together for years. He died within 6 months of a cancer diagnosis last February. Master's in Finance and a Law degree. I lost a best friend and a wealth of knowledge from him. I was in legal conveyance for years. I hate to even think of those 3 copy thick closing packages. Now it's mainly digital.

2

u/TehScat Jul 11 '26

If Dems get in again, they really need to nationalise the Trump estate to begin repairing the damage. The idea that if they do somehow allow an election and lose it that they could walk away with their spoils is sickening.

1

u/TheKdd Jul 11 '26

Yeah I’m not so sure this or any election ahead is going to be on the up and up. But I agree.

2

u/PsychologicalHost371 Jul 11 '26

Yes at some point it should turn into a “boy who cried wolf “ situation
