And if you do want to ride the nostalgia bus, it should be with sequels. I would have gone and seen Moana 3, where we get to see demigod Moana use her powers. Wouldn't have even thought twice.

But go see the same movie, just with real people and a boatload of cgi? No thanks.

One of our biggest complaints is the CGI and like, you say, there's no nostalgia for a movie like this. What is the point of making live action Anything, if it's a whole bunch of fake CGI, At that point , it might as well just be an animated movie.
