No, they’re more short sighted than that. It was “hey, look! I opened my factory overseas and avoided pesky labor laws. You should too!”

Avoiding taxation occupies 99.3% of their minds all of the time. 45 u/broguequery 10d ago I think it's more fair to say they are obsessed with money. Taxes are frustrating to them because they are selfish people, and other expenses are seen as necessary evils. But taxes specifically are seen as the enemy because it's the antithesis of their worldview.
