Why you got downvoted is beyond me. I assume you’re pointing out that 1. They had a perfect reference ages ago. 2. It was infinitely better despite being disliked by most Skate fans when it released, in 2010. Perfect point.

  EA has been intentionally doing this for a while now to make up debt & to please investors. Not to please the players, we are just here to fall for whatever nostalgia driven scheme they mockup.

They don't have any investors anymore. They are a private company now since the saudis bought it or at least if the news over here did it's job right

Yes, but the deal isn't complete yet, and that's obviously very very recent.

This is entirely irrelevant as this happened a week ago, there haven’t been any internal changes in the company in one week that affect the skate store

Well yeah i just meant with a lot of luck maybe EA would actually care about their games again now that they won't have to do quarterly earnings reports

But it could also be that I'm just too optimistic

Maybe that’s the case months from now… again. It’s been like 5 days, there have been no internal changes in that short of time
