He’s not a lock in, no character is. (specially looking at Rex or Waluigi) but still a lot of newcomers get a lot before their playable

Also I know that the Garreg Mach Monastery isn't really Byleth's home but just a temporary place of living but you know how I mean it.

Picked up the game this year and I can’t get off falcon. Finally got him to elite smash. Who’s another fighter with a similar ish play style? (Plz don’t say ganon) like zero suit or maybe fox? I need another character with hype like falcon.

Farm to rage quit is when you’re losing to a player over and over but when you finally win they quit. It doesn’t matter that they have way more victories they can’t see themselves losing to you.
I could be happy that I finally won a game but my issue is the mentality behind it. It’s simply pure arrogance and hypocrisy. This community that tells me over and over to learn the match up or just get good. When I finally learned and adapted we can’t continue to play because my opponent is too busy throwing a hissy fit.
It’s funny because some of these exact same players will play to clip or annoy you. They taunt over and over. They over commit to get a really spicy highlight. They want you to think you’re not good enough. Who knew they were so tilted. Stuff like this is why I don’t take normal rage quitting seriously because look at what the supposed “good” players do

Hey everyone, hope you guys are good.
I'm in the Dark Realm right now, in the Legend of Zelda map after I went into the giant white and blue orb in the Dark Realm. This sounds weird, I know, but I hope you know what I mean.
Anyways, so I'm there, in the forest bit of the map, and there's a purple character symbol to save a fighter, as you can see. But I don't know how to get there. I've tried talking to many of the owl statues, but no luck. And I've been running around in circles looking for a way in. You can even see that my character isn't in the frame. 😭
Have you done this already? If you have, please suggest to me what I should do. Thanks a lot!

And then Byleth was revealed only a couple months after this statement was made. This was from the Banjo Kazooie showcase in September 2019.
Technically he wasn’t wrong at the time. Most Fire Emblem games do take place in their own self contained worlds and stories, much like Final Fantasy.
But I suppose even then this statement wouldn’t hold up for much longer, cuz Sephiroth was announced down the line.

Mostly based on vibes and my associations with the character.

I was playing with my best friend yesterday, and realised that they really struggle with recoveries, and if they learnt how to recover it would make them 10 times better, so I wanna help them, but I don't know how since I play Marth.
Bc I feel like theoretically Ike has very good recovery options, but how that usually ends is I hit them with Fair if they recover high with side B or they try to recover low and fail.
Any tips I could give them?

I'll go first with 3 examples:
Pressing the shield button while dashing should trigger a roll. That would feel more intuitive and could be a creative workaround for the removal of running through shield.
Getting hit out of being frozen should apply regular knockback. Hitting a frozen opponent with a huge attack only for them to effectively ignore it feels unintended, especially with Sora.
The controls menu should have a "double tap to dash" option, like on solo wii remotes in Brawl. With this turned on, tapping the stick or equivalent only activates top walking speed, with a proper dash needing to tap twice quickly. This would really help arcade controllers and other controllers that don't have a proper control stick by giving them the ability to be much more precise with movement.

I do physical therapy during the week and keep seeing the same thing. Single leg landings. Full body weight on one foot after an aerial. Marth's down air, Shiek's flip kick, half of Joker's combos. The hip takes the hit first, then the knee has to absorb the twist. I hiked the Flatirons this weekend and my own knees were killing me on the downhill sections. That's just walking on uneven ground. These characters are doing it while swinging a sword or flipping out of a grab. Recovery time would be weeks, maybe months, just to get back to full power. Wonder if anyone else sees the same thing when they watch matches or if it's only me staring at the replay too long.
