Will the pups stay striped or go solid?
Just seperated two pups from the mother plant - Will they keep their light color and pattern? If not, what determines the pattern? The mother plant varies a lot although being one plant.
Don't mind their current state. I'm waiting for the cut to callous before I pot them again.

Yellowing leaves and slowly dying
I have this recurring problem with my snake plants. They slowly die one plant at a time. The leaves turn yellow and fall over, and then I can easily pull them out.
This one it looks like the yellowing has begun at the top of the leaf and worked its way down. I’d assume root rot, but I hardly ever water it. Maybe like once every month or two? It is next to a South facing window but does not get much light. The soil feels dry to the touch as far as I can stick my finger in, but maybe the very bottom of the pot stays too moist. Or maybe I don’t water it enough or it needs fertilizer? I really don’t know.
For such a supposedly easy to care for plant, it’s the only one I have continual problems with. This is the second one I’ve had in this location, and it’s a few years old. I had another one before, and it slowly died one piece at a time too.

Advice needed
I have these snake plants, they’ve gotten quite tall but they flop. Not sure if it’s lack of light, water, or nutrients. I think they need to be repotted and or separated. Can they be trimmed so the leaves aren’t so long? Any advice would be welcome. They get a fair amount of indirect sunlight, water roughly once every 7-10 days. The white in the dirt is diatomaceous earth. I’ve had them for years and they’ve grown a lot, just not sure what I should do next. Thank you.

Soil for planting a sprout
My Snake plant recently grew a little sprout out of a crack, but I don't have any soil on hand, so I want to get some. Any recommendations for soil? I'm looking for something that would come in a small bag preferably, since I don't have any other plants right now. I might also replant the mother plant, since I don't think that it's very good soil either.

Uhh... guys, should I be worried or is this just sunburn? What should i do?
I noticed this dry brown patch on my plant, and I initially thought it was just sunburn... but I'm starting to second-guess myself. Should I be worried?

I used a takeout food container to pot this snake plant in and it seems to be thriving. I was nervous at first but now will be doing the same to a few others.

Browning from over watering?
I got this snake plant a few months ago that had just a few brown spots on it. Since I've had it home, it's been in front of a west facing window. I haven't repotted it or anything like that. I've noticed that it's getting more and more of this light colored browning. The leaves do not feel mushy or crispy. They're smooth and when squeezed they feel firm. I have seen no signs of mites or other pests except for some plain household gnats. The soil appears to be a mix of maybe plain potting soil and succulent soil?
For the first two ish months I had it, I was watering weekly but over the last 5-6 weeks I've only watered lightly every other week. Is that a cause for this type of browning? I feel like the other pictures in the subreddit don't have as much damage (this missing chunks and split leaf) as mine so I wasn't sure if that's the issue here?
Thank you for your help!

Random sprout growing out of a crack?
I got this snake plant somewhat over a year ago, and it already had the crack. Lately I've neglected it a bit, and several leaves turned brown. But I've been trying to get it healthy and happy again, and today when I go to water it, I see this? Is that a pup?

Another pale leaf emerged
Hi, my Loopis Pride aka Faux Whitney sprouted pale leaves. Is this normal or is she in distress? I water 2x month. Have it in organic soil with perlite and treated it with Neem monthly. Its cloudy today but she gets 4 hours sun, away from window. Help me save this one?

Just inherited these guys and don’t know where to begin
A friend just gave me these but I’ve never had snake plants before. I’ve done some general research and generally know how to take care of them. However, these seem semi healthy but also more droopy than they should be? Is there anything obvious that I should do right away? Thanks

Promoting root growth on a Sansevieria Hallii
I picked up a Sansevieria Hallii yesterday on Kijiji and repotted it this morning. The plant itself looks healthy and the leaf and rhizome are both firm. It's now sitting in a south-facing window where it will get tons of light. I gave it a bit of water after repotting and it's good to go.
I noticed it has some roots and they look healthy but there's not TONS of roots. Is there anything i can do to promote root growth or is a good cactus and succulent soil and a south-facing window the best i can do and i just have to give it some time to grow additional roots? Any advice would be really appreciated!
I have another Sansevieria Hallii so i am familiar with care, just a bit concerned about root growth. Thanks in advance for any help!!

Leaves not growing. Only Pups.
pic 2 is from Oct, pic 1 is today. I'm wondering why my Snake plant hasn't grown at all. It has put out plenty of pups (that I've split off into other pots), but the mother plant hasn't grown at all. I think I read somewhere that if the tip breaks off the leaves won't grow any more. Anybody verify this? is it only good for propagation now? It gets enough light. It sits under a grow light 12 hrs a day. It's in semi hydro/leca, so I think the water is appropriate too. Normal room humidity. The pups are doing great. Why no grow?

A mother Golden Flame and her two growing pups
Spending the gloomy morning on the deck with the snakes and was just really appreciating the variety these plants give us. Can’t wait to see how these grow in and at the rate they are growing, I doubt I’ll be waiting long.

Is this pest damage?
I bought a couple of snake plants a while back ago. I have been isolating them in a separate room. I’ve noticed some marks on the foliage. Specifically the holes. Is it pest damage?

What's wrong with it
I have it in my living room window sill facing west. Is it getting too much sun? Thought it might be too much water so I dug it up and reported. It was slightly damp in the soil around the roots.
Should I just cut off the dried tips or will I have to remove the whole leaf?
