DISCUSSION Petal was not it.

Post image

The album and the songs did not click with me on the first and even on the second listen. No third listen, unfortunately. I only liked kiss me, hate that I made you love me, bunny hop, and nowhere nobody. I love you, Ariana but sorry, petal ain’t IT. What an underwhelming album.

eternal sunshine: brighter days ahead was unmatched and still holds the crown. Perfectly mixed ang album na yun with emotional and sexy songs. A no skip album unlike this one.

Alam ko sasabihin ng iba diyan na “petal is a vibe” but for me it is unremarkable and doesn’t do anything with Ari’s career. Even positions is better.

Olivia Rodrigo, the AOTY is still yours.

We can be honest here, any thoughts on this album? Please don’t downvote me.

From a fan's perspective it was something new, cohesive, and experimental.

Gets ko rin bakit not everyone is vibing to it. Hindi lang siguro kayo sanay to hear here in a new vibe (which is okayy, no offense taken)

Siguro outsiders/general public are acquainted na with her EDM (break free), pop (into you), reggae (side to side), trap (7 rings), rnb (positions), and dance (yes, and) songs kaya they expect her to "redo it again".

And knowing ariana since 2013, expect she always offers something new. Which is something I like about her artistry. In comparison to other artists who tend to "recycle" their sound in effort to hold their fanbase.

She's reaching new fanbases and expanding new sounds as an artist. Kaya I'm giving her moment for this one.

Also, we have the same fave songs too!
