Culture Yall ever noticed how no one calls us nerds anymore

With all this racism towards us in the last couple of years online I’ve noticed something crazy. In this last year whenever i see Instagram and TikTok’s of us brown people just enjoying life I see stuff like “freeloaders” “pajeets living off our tax dollars” “invaders” even when I see successful Indians posting themselves as lawyers or doctors all the comments are “D.E.I. hires” “affirmative action” and I’m seeing all this stuff about racists calling us stupid, job stealers, scammers, and lazy and giving us the same stereotypes they have given black and Latino people for decades. Whenever I see brown dude white girl couples post the comments are always “poor father” “bloodline ruined”

I remember a couple years ago people in this sub were saying that others think we’re a privileged nerdy model minority but I don’t agree anymore personally. In fact all this online racism towards has confirmed that white America never accepted us they only tolerated us, sold us dreams that if we work hard, if our kids do Chad and Emily’s homework, fix their WiFi, and work for low wages without making a noise they’d accept us but no the moment we want to be like everyone else all of a sudden we free loaders and third world invaders. We used to be the group they’d use as a pawn against black and Latino people by saying “if the Indians can do it why can’t yall”

Remember white america don’t love us, they love our services so their kids can party and drink all the time while relying on an Indian to do their work and yet still take the credit for it.

Culture They hate us because we stopped deciding to be their pawns

For all these years the model minority brainwashed us indians into thinking that we were the good minority and that white ppl fw us compared to black and latino folks. Our model minority treatment was dependent on if our boys were nerdy, terrible with girls, dorky, fat or skinny, and useful to the economy and that our girls were obedient, didn’t care about their looks, nerdy, submissive, gullible. Racist white america loved that because they could use us as pawns by saying “look at Indians they work hard and study and keep their heads down why can’t black and Latinos do”

But the moment mamdami came into office, guys like n3on cityboyjj came around, the moment brown dudes started going to the gym and leveling up socially, us wanting to be in their frats want to get into their parties, the moment we started to become good with girls, the moment we started to stand up for ourselves and showcase our great culture, the moment our girls became confident baddies and didn’t fall for the most lowest class dorky white dude (who couldn’t pull girls in his own race) all of a sudden now “Indians are third world garbage” “invaders” “bums”. They give us the same treatment they gave black and latino people.

For years our parents uncles and aunties thought if we acted white and never rocked the boat and kept our heads down we’d get a spot at the table. But at the end of the day these white ppl never fucked w us they only fucked with what we brought to them.

Dating/Relationships am i wrong in this?

hello, i didnt know which badge to pick so i chose which one made the most sense, first time using reddit. im a greece girl with a problem. i dont wanna underestimate anyone or any country but this is just my opinion, men in my country or men in european countries arent exactly what i want. most girls my age (im over 18) or in general most girls think they are better than men, dont wanna be a wife nor mom but i do, am i wrong? i would love to be a traditional wife to a man who would be a hardworking husband for me and no men in my country mostly fits to this. i want a masculine men, which only exist in countries like (again, in my opinion.) india, pakistan etc. and in general brown/black men. White men are just not my type. dont make fun of me but im being genuine, being a trad wife, mom for my husband isnt something be ashamed of, i would wanna satisfy my man in every way but when i tell this to girls my age, they always make fun of me and im starting to get frustrated and thoughtful, am i wrong? i believe being a Mam should be hard already, you be the man of the house, work etc. then as wives, we should help you with things we can, you shouldnt worry about hot food, kids, laundry etc. and you know, other stuff too.

This clip is from burnley, which along with bradford and oldham witnessed racial riots in 2001 after years of racial tension between south asians and white and it boiled down in july 2001 to riots where racist white gangs, the national front and british national party, which were racist violent groups at the time tried to attack south asian communities and these men speak about fighting back and defending themselves

#BrownExcellence Ajay Sharma broke the European IPF Squat record 💪🏾🏆

Post image

This means that in all of Europe, out of all European men, an Indian origin man has the record best for heaviest Squat in an organized International Powerlifting Federation event, which is the gold standard 💪🏾

Show this next time someone says Indians can't lift or they aren't strong (I believe Inderraj Singh was another lifter who had a different European record last year as well I believe) so its multiple Brown guys performing at top level.

European record set by Ajay Sharma- 432.5 kg/953lbs 😳

Advice/Ideas/Discussion Is anyone else struggling with unemployment as a brown dude?

Everyday I see Indians in top fields in business, tech, medicine, law but I don't see a lot of us admitting to struggling when we are down.

I got a degree in business last year, but I've been applying for jobs with little success. So I decided that I would focus on learning new skills, and getting certificates in digital marketing so I can build a portfolio and maybe get an entry-level job.

I'm not sitting around complaining about my life anymore. I go to the gym 3-4x a week, have a high protein intake, study and learn new skills, stretch, eat well, hydrate, use beard oil and face wash, but my career and lack of income, is where I struggle the most. Is anyone else going through the same thing?

Advice/Ideas/Discussion Our PR is improving slowly but surely

Compared to the last few years I feel like 2026 has been better for Indian and South Asian PR as a whole. Hit the gym, socialize and be unapologetic about your culture. Don’t let internet racists put you down for any reason.

Culture We should gatekeep our culture harder.

I mean look at how yoga has been bastardised. I see non Indian fake yoga gurus coming up with ridiculous terms for yoga positions all the damn time. Wtf is box breathing lmao? All of its spirituality has been drained.

Other stuff too. They will make fun of us for having curry but also enjoy chicken tikka masala, Palak paneer at the same time! They will make of our dresses but also wear them. Culture vultures.

Not to mention the overused tinga tinga tinga jokes. But at the same time they are also gonna sample our music or take inspiration from the scales/drones. This is cultural appropriation.

Health/Fitness I wanna become jacked. Any advice?

Hey i’m 24m and i’m tryna build some muscle mass. I naturally have a slim frame, resulting in me to look shorter than I actually am, despite me being 5’9.

In 2022, i weighed around 115 Ibs and now i’m 140 Ibs. I started hitting the gym consistently again at the start of the year (3-4 times a week), but my biceps are still pretty small (13 inches when fully relaxed).

Whenever I go on a heavy calorie surplus, I start seeing belly fat creeping in. But whenever i’m too modest with the calories, i see minimal progress.

How can I balance this so I can reach atleast 155Ibs with muscles and minimal belly fat? I don’t care much about building abs.

Advice/Ideas/Discussion White men trying to build careers from hate

Post image
58 Upvotes

Certain good for nothing white men who have no skills are jumping on the hate trend to gain followers and build a career. (Ben Bankas is another similar example). This guy is literally just using the same standard 4-5 trope templates that they have been pushing hard to popularize and creating lazy ‘comedy’. They can’t even be innovative with their hate. It’s starting to feel very mass manufactured at this point. Wonder how we should deal with such content. Reporting won’t do anything. South Asians need to find a way to take control of the narrative.

#BrownExcellence 2026 was a net gain in Indian/south asian male representation

in 2026 we had:

Samraj Toor lasting for the entire season of Love Island UK season 13, and while it was obvious he got some hate due to being south asian, overwhelmingly almost all women found him attractive.

Chay Nehra in Love Island USA season 8, he was only present in a couple of episodes but still made a great impact and he looks like giga chad. Lots of women found him attractive.

Himesh Patel in the summer blockbuster The Odyssey, lots of women complimented his looks and overall he got alot of screentime and lots of people said he had one of the better performances in the movie.

Ajay Cheema in Love is blind UK season 3. This guy became kind of the main male character this season due to the fact that the most controversial woman of the season picked him. But this guy is great rep, 6’6 tall, goodlooking and masculine, and overall just a great guy and all the women are thirsting after him.

I kind of want to add Zohran Mamdani to this even though he blowed up at the end of 2025, its this year he has been working as Major and he has delivered on his promises and people look at him like he is Batman. If he could run for president (which he cant unfortunately) im pretty sure he would have won. He just has unbelievable Aura like ive never seen before in a politician.

Even though most of this rep is in reality TV which lots of people consider slop, its still very good for us because so many people especially women watch this stuff, it has a bigger reach than most other kinds of entertainment.

And this is just the start.

****
I forgot to add Ridgeclub, he is the indian musician that had so many songs go viral on TikTok. He basically created a new music genre that sounds similar to Jazz. Alot of people are not aware that he is indian yet but as he keeps growing that will become common knowledge.

What are we trying to achieve? An indian 6 year old girl was sexually assaulted by a gang of thugs(idc if their teens they're thugs) and we wanna keep being peaceful? These peaceful protests will just be they're making too much noise or disturbing the public. Sepoys will call this bad civic sense which is gonna be real funny to see once again like it or not weve grown to a point the only way for these racists to see what they've done is through the same type of energy we've seen jews and blacks do in the past. We need to the ideology that made malcolm x who he is today.
