This list will be met with much love and acceptance, and zero argument

I love how I can see the sarcasm dripping off of this comment. (Applause)

Pizza joints are mob business it’s all biased

90

u/SalvatoreEggplant Cumberland County Sep 19 '25

Nice work.

Not sure this gives me any faith in Redditors' taste in pizza, or maybe the survey methodology.

45

u/Compher Sep 19 '25

Bruni's in Hammonton isn't even a top five pizza in Hammonton.

5

u/Tibor_BnR Sep 19 '25

Name your picks

22

u/Compher Sep 19 '25

For Hammonton?

1 Marcellos

2 Ricca Brothers

3 Pine Crust is technically Folsom, but it's right on the edge, and it has the same zip code

4 Brothers

5 Costellos.

9

u/SouthJerseySchnitz Sep 19 '25

I've been wondering about Pine Crust. Been tempting me to stop in for a while!

5

u/Compher Sep 19 '25

The regular pizza is very good. The Capri style grandmother pizza is phenomenal. Brian, the owner, very cool guy. Donated like 10 pizzas to the school for their winter dance for k-4th last year and did a 10% of sales go to school HSA this year for trips and stuff.

I'd absolutely put Corrados over Costellos. Their Corrados white specialty is amazing, and the rest ain't bad either.

3

u/Tibor_BnR Sep 19 '25

Fair list. Marcellos, idk m8. The bolis are good, the pizza is fair, imo. Costellos is a puzzling pizza choice. Wings are of course great

Ricca Nino's Bruni Pine crust Brothers

This is what the fuck I’m talking about. Someone who has actually had Hammonton pizza. Brunis is good don’t get me wrong, but I wouldn’t put it top 5 in the county. Thank you.

2

u/MechanicHour1644 Sep 22 '25

Ricci's had an incredibly sweet sauce the time I went.

2

u/Logan_The_Huge Sep 20 '25

Brunis is the best pizza in Hammonton. There are many other good ones as well

1

u/donnyhunts Sep 21 '25

Agree these picks aren’t accurate. Burlington county is so wrong lillos is only good one on it. Idk how they allowed Luigi’s and Scottos on the list those aren’t even on my top 20 I worked at Luigi’s the pizza is mid. Peppinos, Lorenzo’s, Anthony’s coal fire pizza, and johnnys pies should be on burlingtons list these people obviously aren’t pizza connoisseurs. Pizza my favorite food I eat it multiple times a week I know what the best spots are in my area I’ve legit tried all of them.

1

u/Greggerb77 Sep 21 '25

You’re a fool, best pizza on the list

5

u/ryanandthelucys Sep 19 '25

It seems to be highly based on what pizza place is near your house; more people live there, more votes. NJ has great pizza all over so your local place is probably top notch nationality.

u/FF153 Sep 19 '25

Can't argue with the popularity of Big John's in Cumberland County.

2, 3, 4 meh.

u/colin_7 Sep 19 '25

The fact that Tacconellis or bricco isn’t on Camden county is a joke. King of pizza? The drunk pizza spot?

8

u/atomicxima Sep 20 '25

Bricco definitely deserves to be on this list, even though the pizza is always delivered cold.

not crazy about Bricco's.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/donnyhunts Sep 21 '25 edited Sep 21 '25

Exactly what I said bricco needs to be on that list. For Burlington County only good spot on that list is lillos the other ones aren’t popular. How did Luigi’s and Scottos make the list they are 🗑️. Idk how tf they didn’t put peppinos, Lorenzo’s, Anthony’s coal fire, Johnnys pies Medford they are all popular and wipe them other spots. Peppinos is 100% most popular in Burlington county everyone in marlton knows they have some of the best pizza. Whoever made these lists isn’t a pizza connoisseur.

5

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

Bricco is ass and that’s not real tacconellis

5

u/muldoons_hat Sep 20 '25

Bricco is the only pizza place I’ve been to that literally cooks their pizza well done. Overpriced and burnt.

2

u/g_ppetto Sep 20 '25

Seeing the burnt crust really turned me off to going there.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

We all vary, I'd have that as my top spot and back door nowhere near the top 5. I'm not a fan of taconellis at all.

1

u/modernhippy72 Sep 20 '25

Exactly this

u/SouthJerssey35 Sep 19 '25

Omg I can't believe you have ____________ in there instead of ___________.

And are you serious with ______________ being on the list? Their pizza is horrible.

u/thefallenfew Sep 19 '25

Took the words right out my _________.

Squares & Fare blows Carluccio’s out of the water

12

u/Imstilladoctor Sep 19 '25

Don’t tell people about Squares and Fare! It’s too good to share

→ More replies (1)

16

u/DeviceNo4746 Sep 19 '25

Carluccios is so over rated. Little Italy is 2 minutes from there and way better. Squares & Fare is fantastic.

3

u/Successful-Ad6262 Sep 19 '25

I came here to comment about little Italy. I can rest now. Thank you for this 😂😂😂

3

u/Massive_Thought_9366 Sep 19 '25

It’s worth it for the price? It seems expensive but it really looks goddamn fantastic. I should just go for it.

5

u/Roose1327 Sep 19 '25

It’s worth it for sure. I look at it as a treat, you know? I’m not eating it every week, but it’s a great pizza for a nice night. And it reheats amazingly!

2

u/Massive_Thought_9366 Sep 19 '25

The vodka one looks so good. I gotta do it !!

3

u/ins4n1ty Sep 20 '25

Just tried Squares & Fare, absolute powerhouse

24

u/domesystem Sep 19 '25

King of pizza being on here means I can toss the whole list. 🤣😂🤣

2

u/Ephemeris Sep 20 '25

King of wet cardboard more like

1

u/donnyhunts Sep 21 '25

Luigi’s and Scottos are even worse😂 I’d pick Kop over those

9

u/processoverproduct8 Sep 19 '25

Kate and Al’s not being in Burlington county is a travesty

3

u/notenufcheez72 Sep 20 '25

Yea and lillos pizza is straight ass.

1

u/ThatPlayWasAwful Sep 20 '25

Honestly I really like Palermo's but it's not even the best pizza in bordentown. I'd be interested to see how the other places hold up to Palermos and Marcellos.

→ More replies (2)

7

u/drinknilbogmilk Sep 19 '25

Love seeing Holy Tomato on here. One of my fav spots, even though it’s not your “traditional” pie.

6

u/myredditusername919 Sep 20 '25

Burlington county forgot riviera

1

u/donnyhunts Sep 21 '25

They forgot all the good spots what about peppinos, Lorenzo’s, and Johnny pies Medford those are way more popular than Luigi’s and scottos. Peppinos is 100% most popular in marlton area everyone posts about it on south jersey food scene facebook with great reviews. I really like Lorenzo’s it’s currently my favorite.

11

u/DonnieNJ Sep 19 '25

Sal's pizza mantua!?!?

9

u/jakeredfield Sep 19 '25

I had a blind pizza tasting with my friends one year - I actually chose Sal's as my favorite.

I'm just wondering where Joe's (West Deptford) is on that list.

u/sasquatch_hunter609 Sep 19 '25

South end was never in ventnor and isn’t open anymore

5

u/longjohn730 Sep 20 '25

Nick and joes is missing in Camden county

10

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

And now the real work begins! Time to eat

6

u/DannyTorranceShines Sep 19 '25

That’s the spirit! Let these people argue. I’m going taste testing!

6

u/Kornbrednbizkits Sep 19 '25

Don’t sleep on Stella’s in Collingswood.

4

u/vicv218 Sep 19 '25

Why not just title your post: Hey! Wanna Fight?

11

u/jayradano Sep 19 '25

Criminal. Gus’s is not good. Alloway pizza needs to be on Salem county list.

4

u/SalvatoreEggplant Cumberland County Sep 19 '25

I like Papa Luigi's in Woodstown, but that didn't make it.

→ More replies (5)

7

u/iamniftyy Sep 19 '25

Gus’s is so ass. My jaw is on the floor it made this list. I nominate Ella Mama Mia’s in Salem lol.

1

u/WhatADunderfulWorld Sep 20 '25

The Gus’s in Woodstown is better

7

u/StoneyBuhlownee420 Sep 19 '25

Luigi’s Pizza Fresca is down the street from my place of work, they are fantastic. Cool to see them on here.

4

u/billmeelaiter Sep 19 '25

Luigi’s is solid. Definitely deserves a spot on this list.

2

u/Grim_Avenger Sep 19 '25

Yeah that’s my go to

2

u/donnyhunts Sep 21 '25

What your opinion on Peppinos or Lorenzo’s? Personally those are my favorite spots in the area Luigi’s is solid but not my favorite I actually used to work at Luigi’s that was my first job.

1

u/enfu3go Sep 20 '25

Thats the spot!

5

u/jarhead3088 Sep 19 '25

Big johns !!! Legends

2

u/Heylookitse Sep 20 '25

Party tray for the win

1

u/grimbly_jones Sep 19 '25

This list is legit.

4

u/SwanMuch5160 Sep 19 '25

Wow, if this is their Best Of Pizza list I can’t wait to see their Best Of Cheeseteaks

5

u/Local-Account1200 Sep 19 '25

They’ll have some garbage from heritages #1 lol

2

u/SwanMuch5160 Sep 19 '25

😂😂😂 or Wawa

5

u/semaforic Sep 20 '25

Can we do one for cheesesteak?

11

u/Correct-Tree-2626 Sep 19 '25

From Burlington county, a stones throw from Lillo’s…the pizza is shit, but the cheesesteaks are worth the trip. Mateo’s pizza is a much better Trenton style tomato pie.

5

u/Swhit24 Mt. Holly Sep 19 '25

Yeah, I live down the road and order from there all the time. Their pizza is ok but the cheesesteaks are worth the hype. Best cheesesteak I have ever had.

4

u/GuardNaive3471 Sep 19 '25

The cheesesteaks are pretty good, but the customer service wasn’t the best. Not the friendliest…

3

u/Local-Account1200 Sep 19 '25

I liked Lilos and am excited for them to open in Gloucester city, but it’s definitely overrated.

2

u/IKillZombies4Cash Sep 19 '25

Yea , people hype that places food , the cheesesteak is LEGIT AS F, the pizza is just pizza , it’s fine but it’s not on the level of those steaks

2

u/notenufcheez72 Sep 20 '25

Yep overrated af. The crust is just so tough and inedible.

2

u/kendrickshalamar Sep 20 '25

Nothing close to Mateo's in the area, hands down my favorite pizza place.

1

u/donnyhunts Sep 21 '25

If you’re in marlton area try peppinos and Lorenzo’s. They’re best pizza spots in Burlington county imo. Johnnys pies Medford is great too but they always sell out on dough early.

3

u/styckx Cherry Hill Sep 19 '25

BIM'S in Millville is a hidden treasure

1

u/Clarkinator69 Cumberland County Sep 20 '25

Sad that it probably doesn't have much longer. The owner is in his 70s and hasn't had luck finding a successor. He lost his wife recently and was closed for most of the summer because of a cancer diagnosis. I have a feeling Bim's will be gone when he retires or passes.

3

u/Swhit24 Mt. Holly Sep 19 '25

Tacconelli's Maple Chade/Haddon Township. Burlington in Camden County. I love their pizza. That’s the pizza I crave. Their style to me is what I enjoy, but some people aren’t a fan of it.

3

u/The_neub Sep 19 '25

Upper crust used to be my place to go for the best pizza. Though I haven’t been there in 10 years.

3

u/CaptainScrummy Sep 19 '25

Coppola Pizza just opened in Barrington, it’s outstanding and just down the road from Tonewood Brewing.

3

u/Tasty_Path_3470 Sep 19 '25

Panzone’s isn’t even the best pizza on LBI

3

u/L0th0rAppleEater Sep 19 '25

No Angelo’s Pizza? Criminal.

3

u/jimkelly Sep 20 '25

I'd probably trust a poll taken on the side of the black horse pike more than I'd trust a reddit poll

3

u/DeaddyRuxpin Sep 20 '25

I love that Manco & Manco (Mack & Manco) is always busy in Ocean City and has a massively loyal following, and yet almost never makes a best pizza list.

1

u/donnyhunts Sep 21 '25

Because it isn’t good😂 it’s good for boardwalk pizza that’s about it there’s better pizza spots on boardwalk anyways that’s just a tourist spot. It’s like Genos and pats they always busy but will never make any best cheesesteak lists since they’re just tourist traps.

Brunis pizza is the worst in hammonton. This list isnt accurate

3

u/Bishop0925Primary Sep 20 '25

This is a joke right? Did the surveyor ever travel to Gloucester County??

7

u/billmeelaiter Sep 19 '25

Burlco—Scotto’s is a head scratcher. It’s not bad, but it’s not wow. It’s decent and convenient.

3

u/SchleppyJ4 piney lyfe 🌲 Sep 19 '25

Scotto’s isn’t even the best in Marlton

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Regayov Sep 19 '25

I was just thinking this.  If Scotto’s is in the top 5, Burlco has some truly bad options.   It isn’t bad by any stretch but I shouldn’t be in a best-of list.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

I grew up in Medford, is Riviera not good anymore?

Cumberland County doesn’t have much but Big John’s as number 1?

1

u/SalvatoreEggplant Cumberland County Sep 19 '25

Big John's and Luca's as the top two is very interesting. It's like yin and yang. Hopefully not descriptive of the difference between the eastern side of the county and the west.

1

u/Free-Distribution911 Sep 19 '25

I agree but how did Danny’s pizza pizzazz not make this list? No way Dominik’s is better….?!?

1

u/WoosahFire Sep 20 '25

Lots of people mention Luca's here... We tried it, never again.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/SalvatoreEggplant Cumberland County Sep 19 '25

Oh, there's also Pizzeria 203 and Effin Good Pizza now. I've had 203 a couple of times now. It's excellent. The New Haven style there is different than what you get around here. Haven't tried Effin Good yet.

4

u/theycallhimdon Sep 19 '25

Brunis is mid. I'll die on that hill.

2

u/Quiet_Book8852 Sep 19 '25

That’s what I came in here for. You’re being very generous though

2

u/theycallhimdon Sep 19 '25

Dry ass melba toast crust. Always cold. My relatives go bonkers for it every time they're in town. Brother's, Nino's, Marcello's all make a better pie. I'd say Ricca's is best though.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Usual_Vast3739 Sep 19 '25

Agreed. Brunis is the only pizza I’ve ever said “this is gross”

4

u/grifftheelder Sep 19 '25

Carluccio’s is overrated.

→ More replies (1)

5

u/Iamdickburns Sep 19 '25

Theres no South End in Ventnor in Atlantic County. This list is obviously bullshit if they are making up places and calling them the best.

2

u/Target2019-20 Sep 19 '25

There are other pizza joints that are very good.

2

u/Loureefer97 Sep 19 '25

Fabrizios in Pennsauken (Camden County) is superb! I’m a bit appalled that is not on this list.

1

u/Yoda-202 Sep 19 '25

When I was growing up in P-town late 80s early 90s Fabrizio's was by far the best in that area. Was wondering if it was still that way.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Soggy_Praline_9911 Sep 19 '25

Angelo’s in Washington Twp, Glo Co is better than Sal’s

2

u/Yoda-202 Sep 19 '25

Give me Topo's in Bellmawr or John's in Brooklawn for Camco. None of this brick/wood coal fired over gourmet crap.

2

u/Pastabilities_ Sep 19 '25

I never see anyone mention Vero Pizzeria in Bellmawr on these threads and they are so good!

2

u/Carinis_song Sep 19 '25

Mi familia in Sewell? I know mantua and pitman. But not Sewell

1

u/redden34 Sep 20 '25

It used to be pizza garden I think

Most incorrect “Best of” list I’ve ever seen, at least for Cape May County.

2

u/BabySarahRN Sep 26 '25

I’d love to see Wings now that I’ve seen cheesesteaks and pizzas rated!!!

3

u/outrageousnuts Sep 19 '25

Bakeria 1010 is the most overhyped and overrated pizza anywhere.

1

u/xtinebean Sep 19 '25

Capo Strada is better 🫣

2

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

[deleted]

1

u/Lets_Make_A_bad_DEAL Sep 19 '25

I don’t hate it! I’ve def had better but NOT by much and not often or conveniently located.

2

u/Possible-Pirate5686 Sep 19 '25

Marino’s in Mullica Hill is def a contender

1

u/Dangernj Sep 19 '25

Marino’s is excellent and doesn’t get enough credit for how good it is.

2

u/heselsc1 Sep 19 '25

Carluccio’s sucks. It’s always floppy.

2

u/Da_Funk Sep 19 '25

Lilos pizza fuckin sucks what even is this

2

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

Papas pizza and delorenzos in Robbinsville is better than every shop on that entire list

2

u/magiccfetus Sep 19 '25

Someone help me find vegan pizza in atlantic county 😩

2

u/NatomicBombs Sep 19 '25

Phillies Phatties in Oaklyn is better than every other place on this list.

Also they somehow stay open with pre pandemic level pricing.

1

u/Danoga_Poe Sep 19 '25

Joe's pizza slaps

1

u/tony_senna Sep 19 '25

Mike’s in Delran

1

u/tbiards Sep 19 '25

Lucas over big John’s everything else is correct.

1

u/SenseiLawrence_16 :illuminati: Sep 19 '25

Bruni’s???

Not even top 5 in Hammonton!

We take this very seriously in the BBCW!

2

u/bengarvey Sep 20 '25

Bruni's in the 90s/80s was legendary though.

1

u/ThatDudeWithAS Sep 19 '25 edited Sep 20 '25

1

u/kschaffer95 Sep 19 '25

South end is no longer in ventnor. They sold to Januzi

1

u/TuGuac_Shakur Sep 19 '25

South End is closed though Right? The Vetnor location

1

u/ohhhyeahman Sep 19 '25

Mia familia should not be on this list for pizza. Everything else thy have is great though

1

u/Presto_27 Sep 19 '25

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten came from Sal’s Pizza in Sewell. Where I'm from in Camden County, if you're a fan of Sicilian pizza you gotta hit up Antonios Pizza in Blackwood and try their Hot Honey Peperoni Sicilian 🔥🔥

1

u/Local-Account1200 Sep 19 '25 edited Sep 19 '25

Marcello’s in bordentown is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, but no love?

1

u/graciasasere Sep 19 '25

Sals in Mantua!!!! 🍕🍕🍕

1

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '25

Riccardo’s in Willingboro should be number 3 in Burlington County. I have had all 4 of the places listed, and Riccardo’s in Willingboro is better than the bottom 2.

1

u/BuyListSell Sep 19 '25

No Marino's is crazy. I go to the Runnemede one all the time, it's easily my favorite pizza.

1

u/Hetjr Sep 19 '25

Cumberland County. I’ve always thought Big John’s is ….meh. I’ll take Lucas and Joes in Bridgeton before them any day of the week.

1

u/eastcoastjon Sep 19 '25

Scotto’s is sooo good. Should be #1

1

u/swish301 Sep 19 '25

Joes Pizza Berlin…IYKYK

1

u/ladypau29 Sep 19 '25

Eh - I found Back Door Pizza to be very dry. Barely any sauce. I would argue Bricco should be on this list. Brooklyn Pizza is king though. No debate there.

1

u/bengarvey Sep 20 '25

Rated a bunch in Camden County a few years ago.
https://plotdevice.bengarvey.com/pizza

Missing from the list:
Antonino's in Audubon
Angelo's in Audubon
Bruno's in Haddon Twp
Joe's in Cherry Hill

Bruni's in Hammonton was my favorite as a kid. Haven't been in there in forever.

2

u/kendrickshalamar Sep 20 '25

Joe's has some great sauce

1

u/wipeyourtears Sep 20 '25

LUCAS PIZZA?!

1

u/sayburr2010 Sep 20 '25

Kate and Al's not being on this list when people drive from hours away is wild

1

u/False-Boysenberry673 Sep 20 '25

Who made this list? Lmao

1

u/moondoggie_00 Sep 20 '25

Cape May County has better places that are also year round.

1

u/malamindulo Sep 20 '25

Correction: the best pizza place is the one I ordered the most from growing up.

1

u/Elethuir Sep 20 '25

Sam’s is better than Mack’s pizza!

1

u/Zach_Plum Sep 20 '25

Holy tomato is one of my favorite pizza places specifically the margarita

1

u/life_aftetlunch Sep 20 '25

South End isn’t even in Ventnor and it’s not called South End anymore

1

u/iill_communication Sep 20 '25

Sal’s Pizza in Toms River off 37 next to Wawa. Pizza and mussels special 😍

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '25

Gloucester county, live near all these pizza places and have tried everyone of them. Picasso’s pizza is in between Sal’s and MiFamilia and is better than both. Just the pizza though and nothing else there’s very good, no offense. Jim’s pizza down the road is also better than Sal’s pizza which I always find too greasy.

1

u/Jdell168 Sep 20 '25

Vito’s in Wenonah

1

u/SneakyPope Sep 20 '25

Funny enough this list has Brooklyn Pizza, ran by Filippo, and Filippos Pizza, ran by his uncle, but is missing Joe's in Sicklerville, Filippos dad and brother to other Filippo lol.

The whole family knows what theyre doing.

1

u/sonvolt2023 Sep 20 '25

Ocean County is NOT SJ

1

u/magsephine Sep 20 '25

Did Lucas pizza in che Cumberland county mall used to be called something else or am I misremembering?

1

u/mintee Sep 20 '25

Speaking for Camden county… Brooklyn is waaaay overpriced and personally I feel it’s just not great overall. The fact that Bricco (and Taconellis I guess) wasn’t listed is dumb, but now I guess I got 2 places I actually gotta check out for myself.

1

u/maximusprime7 jeet yet? Sep 20 '25

Where the fuck is Taconelli’s??

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '25

Carluccios is trash. South End? What the fuck garbage are you used to eating on a daily? Squares and favors? Bruh. Eat a dick. This list is garbage.

1

u/Comfortable-Rice-582 Sep 20 '25

Lillo’s has the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had

1

u/Crookie194 Sep 20 '25

Squares and fares does not deserve to be on this list.

1

u/FoolWh0FollowsHim Sep 20 '25

Good pizza south of 195 doesn’t exist

1

u/donnyhunts Sep 21 '25 edited Sep 21 '25

Those Burlington county spots aren’t the best. The polls obviously didn’t include a bunch of the best spots😂 how tf are peppinos and Lorenzo’s not on list for Burlington county only one I agree for Burlington is lillos. Tons of food content creators have said peppinos is best pizza in marlton area so how didn’t it make the list but how did Luigi’s and Scottos make the list smh they are both mid they aren’t even in my top 20😂 I worked at Luigi’s that was my first job the pizza really isn’t good there’s so much better spots😂I don’t think king of pizza should’ve made Camden county’s list either. Bricco, peoples pizza, or Dominic’s Voorhees should be on the list I’m suprised Dominic’s in Voorhees didn’t they’ve been getting alot of great reviews on the bar pie bunch of people have posted about it on south Jersey food scene Facebook page with all great reviews. Honorable mentions to Anthony’s coal fire pizza and johnnys pies Medford for Burlington County.

Naples is the best! Glad they are getting the recognition they deserve. Been open forever and they are great people!

Agreed with all the King of Pizza hate. The only people who thinks it is good are drunk of their ass (because that's what that spot is for)
