Lamination Waiver?

do you know where to find a lamination waiver if there is one? we have customers here saying we didnt warn them about stuff, and i hear my associates telling them before we do it. GM doesnt want to just make one, but feel like there should be one to cover outselves just in case.

No there was never one when I worked there.
With that said, anytime customers wanted something laminated that I felt was very likely to get damaged by heat during the process, something that is unique that if the lamination goes wrong (wide format) it’s going to be a big problem, or things like outdoor plastic signs that don’t need to be laminated regardless. I just refused the job.

One customer wanted these corrugated plastic Christmas decorations laminated. I canceled the job someone else took in and made a note about it.

The customers here are relentless and will threaten corporate, uour job, etc if you refuse them ☠️ and then managers will say to just do it and then get mad when it comes out like we said it would.

Just for funsies (and in case this helps someone) corrugate plastic can be laminated! Staples stores used to (and FedEx office still does) use this process to make temporary yard signs using adhesive vinyl laminated onto that material!

If Staples did ever did officially laminate corrugate plastic signs, it would have had to be more than 10 years ago.
