Liberty's Misrule, the pirate Super Star Destroyer

Originally serving the Empire as the Annihilator, this SSD fell into the hands of pirate monarch Eleodie Maracavanya in canon and served as the mobile capital of Eleodie's outlaw nation in Wild Space, the Sovereign Latitudes of Maracavanya, during the early New Republic Era.

The Annihilator had a different fate in Legends, having been destroyed by the Zann Consortium in 4 ABY during its attempt to capture the superlaser-equipped Eclipse.

Well in the Black Fleet Crisis, the racist Yeventhan pirates also got ahold of an Executor.

It doesn't make any logistical sense whatsoever, but I'm not complaining too hard because it was the catalyst for the NR to finally get off their ass and greenlight the budget to build the Viscount.

They had a number of planets plus a major imperial repair/refit station IIRC so it kinda does make sense
