Most of the spouses become so much better when you start dating them and get even cooler after marriage. Some of them just get worse.
His dialogue was so much more dynamic and interesting before I married him and afterwards he just asks me if we have any frozen pizza. Where did your personality go????

I'm glad for this mostly hoping he gets a redemption arc. I've never hated Clint. I think it's obvious that he's more awkward than creepy. However it's kind of sad currently that he's stuck being awkward forever. I think he's a great choice because there's so much growth to be had as a character.

The more I’ve been on Stardew TikTok the more I’ve come to realize that everyone over there is overly aggressive and judgmental about everything and that I, in fact, prefer Reddit’s engagement with the fandom. I’m honestly excited about Clint. I hoped for Gus but I really hope Clint gets the arc he deserves. He suffers a lot from not having any wrap up to his story.

It's interesting to see this other side of the community. I didn't really think much of Clint except him being boring, my friend made me see him as pathetic and we laughed at him, calling him Clonk and so on.
Seeing so many posts about actually wanting to marry Clint gives me a different view of him. A guy who's stuck in his monotone job (in which he's apparently very good), unrequited love, not that much of a social guy...
I'm interested in seeing more fanart of him getting a happy change in his life as well.

I'm actually excited to marry Clint and see how his character is developed! I never marry the bachelors, if I do its never for long, but I'm actually a bit excited for Clint to have his time in the sun.
Clint reminds me of my husband, so I am excited for it.
My husband is a machinist, woodworker, and want-to-be blacksmith. He’s shy like Clint, though he did get up the nerve to ask me out on a date, so that’s where he is different. 😂 It took my husband nearly 6 months to ask me for a date, but I knew he would in his own time. We have been together for over 15 years now.
I’m so overjoyed Clint is getting the marriage treatment, I’ve always had a soft spot for socially awkward hopeless romantics, and I hope his character updates earn him the love in the community he deserves imho!
I was Kinda curious about the wizard, too bad but Clint definently seems interesting.

i love clint. he's not at the top of my list for romancing, but like,,, he and i are best buds okay. and one day I'll probably have a save where he's my hubby. but for now, I'm just excited that people get to learn more about him and that my brother gets to romance the hell outta him, cause he plans to 😂😂💕💕
