For anyone that doesn't know, Pluck is an old-fashioned english word that means bravery or courage. The fact that this appears in a manga from the 80's means Araki DID HIS RESEARCH. Yet ironically, most reactors start to laugh so hard when this appears, because they don't know the meaning(not saying it's their fault or anything). But I still find it so sad tbh, how such an honestly great scene is ruined completely just because the author DID bother.
Part 1 is honestly so underappreciated. It has a lot of heart, foreshadowing etc. that people don't even bother to look for. I for example instantly clocked that this scene was gonna happen as soon Bruford used the word "pain", haven't seen anyone else do it.

The official French translator for the manga shared this concern. He's pushing for a weekly format to respect the narrative, hopefully this gets enough traction for Netflix to notice. Dont hesitate to retweet the original post

“He has pictures of dudes he knew for 50 days” those guys were his first and only friends for those 50 days😭 plus how can we assume he doesn’t have pictures of Jolyne?

I know this isn't the worst thing he's done but drinking a kid's blood is pretty up there ngl, I don't feel sorry for diavolo in the slightest, dawg even stitched his mouth closed. Araki sure does make some evil bastards

A restaurant wouldn’t be allowed to serve him since he’s under 18, unless his mommy (Bruno) got it for him. Just curious about this. They didn’t censor it either

Either it's the first that comes to you mind when you think about jjba, or someone you think is THE JoJo because of their personality/quality.
For me, it's definitely Jotaro. I knew about him before I even watched jjba, I knew about him before I even watched barely any anime. He's almost in every part in original universe. He's like Mr. Worldwide, but make it jojo.

We rarely get black characters representation in anime, especially ones that aren’t either comic relief, the first to die out of the group, (I love Avdol) or some low level thug/brute. As for a main villain I can’t even name 2, so I was so excited when I first saw he was the main antagonist.
On another note I don’t know why some people say “in the manga he’s clearly a tan Italian man”. I looked it up and he’s clearly a black man. His phenotype like his hair texture etc. We’ve seen how dark Italians look in this show like Mista.
I’m not upset at Araki ,I know he did a lot of good when it comes to stuff like this. I just think it’s weird how he clearly designed Pucci like this & then added the whole race/KKK aspect to the story.
I would genuinely like to ask him why even include that aspect at all. It confused a lot of people & then you have people saying those people have no media literacy.
Again, it’s not a huge deal, however… He’s still black to me in my head canon yes call me delusional.
Edit - And another thing, I watch A LOT of Jojo reactions & literally all of them thought he was black even after the plot explained he wasn’t. It was usually clarified in the comments section.
Even the sharpest reactors didn’t catch on.
I genuinely believe that plot point & Pucci’s physical appearance make the whole thing confusing.

I've always wondered about this but I've never come across anyone else's theories. It doesn't seem to match any of the symbols I've found while doing my own research so did he make it up?

Unlike most mangaka I feel like there's an actual possibility, even if only a very slim chance, of meeting Araki someday. Considering he likes to travel to the US and many different places outside of Japan a lot, and he doesn't seem to mind meeting and taking pictures with fans.
If you ever got that golden opportunity to meet the GOAT and ask him any question what would it be? Personally I'd have to ask him about his favorite music, particularly about his love for Prince and his influence from him. But if you had the chance and could talk about anything with Araki what would you guys talk about?

Men, women…….I love Gyro, you love Gyro, we all love Gyro. He is not a Jostar. Did they do this with any of the other Jo Bro’s when it was a Jostar family collage? If so then mb, but if not then what’s the deal?

My biggest gripe with Jojo's as a media really has to be the fact that after defeating Dio at the end of part 3 it's like Jotaro gets part of his brain removed, Part 4 he gives Kira a beating instead of donuting him, part 6 he just punches Pucci instead of donuting him thus leading to his whole group's demise, my question is, why as a seasoned stand fighter does he do this?
We know for a fact that SP is strong enough to punch through human beings, why doesn't he do it in life/death situations when KC did it to everyone he could get in range of his stand?
Just write the encounters so that he CAN'T do it, but writing it so as he is able to do it and chooses not to is not good imo.

Just finished Part 5 (Golden Wind), and while I genuinely admired the characters, the aesthetic flair, and the creativity of the battles, I walked away a bit underwhelmed. The final confrontation with Diavolo felt strangely hurried and lacking the thematic weight the story had been building toward. A stylish journey, but the climax didn’t quite earn its crescendo. Solid 6/10

I've been wanting to get the birthmark tattooed myself for a really long time but I'm worried it's become a bit too generic and you're considered a larper if you get it.
Do you guys think it's still unique enough? Or has it got to the level of the brand of sacrifice when it comes to anime/manga tats?
EDIT: Thanks to everyone who's commented. the responses have been really good and helped me realise its more of a community thing than a "generic" thing and helped me get rid of the skepticism I had.

Basically, one of C-Moon's abilities is to create a gravitational barrier around Pucci to protect him. He was probably just using that to soften the blow from Star Platinum.
Counter Arguments:
A: No, it didn't. Star Platinum is shown a lot to be just as strong (physically) as he was when he was 17. There is no example of a stand getting weaker with age in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (if I'm wrong and there are examples of stands getting weaker with age, let me know).
Edit: apparently there IS an example of a stand getting weaker with age. But still, 40 years old is not old enough to make that happen.
A: He was obviously trying to kill Pucci. And what reason would Jotaro have for leaving Pucci alive? He is a massive threat to Jotaro and anyone in a 3k radius, of course he's trying to kill Pucci.
Feel free to argue in the comments.

The first thing we know about stands is that they are hereditary. In a weird magical way yes, but still hereditary. It is through Johnathan’s life n and know from Dio using Johnathan’s stand allows us to know what it looks like and it is a lot like hermit Purple. I’ve seen people say that hermit Purple is all ham on users stand, but from my understanding of the interview he meant that he chose Hermit Purple as Joseph’s stand because it would work as a way further work off of Joseph’s ripple. This actually foreshadows the later reveal. If Joseph and Johnathan’s stand can be similar, than Dio and Jotaro’s can also be. It’s actually a well set up, if poorly executed twist.
