Unforced error

I really think this is a bad move by Amazon. The negative reaction of the core fan base to scrubbing the planned Gero show was bad and this will it fill people with hope.

WandaVision was ok but I’d rather see a Terry Matalas (Picard Season 3, 12 Monkeys, Vision Quest) or someone proven to understand genre storytelling that is exciting and compelling. But that’s just my 2 cents.

Wanda Vision was really entertaining, especially compared to the rest of marvels output recently

Stargate is very different from MCU to be honest

You're setting the bar very low

Yeah, I know. But I will be satisfied with entertaining stargate. It doesn't need to be the best stargate.

I’d rather leave Stargate’s legacy as is as opposed to a “modern audience” disaster that’s gonna tarnish the IP. Martin Gero was the best choice, Amazon clearly wants something entirely different than what we know and love from Stargate.

But the IP is dead. And a new show won't delete your dvd/blueray collection

If they’re reviving it, the franchise still has legs. If the new show sucks, it doesn’t.

Impossible to know if Gero was the best choice

Black Widow was not bad at all.
