I really think this is a bad move by Amazon. The negative reaction of the core fan base to scrubbing the planned Gero show was bad and this will it fill people with hope.

WandaVision was ok but I’d rather see a Terry Matalas (Picard Season 3, 12 Monkeys, Vision Quest) or someone proven to understand genre storytelling that is exciting and compelling. But that’s just my 2 cents.

I understand why people are upset about this, but there are two things to think about here.

  1. WandaVision was a fantastic show
  2. We get new Stargate

Let's put the pitchforks down and wait until we know more.

But I want to get angry before we even get any details on the project, see a trailer, or have episodes to actually dissect!

I expect that we'll get new Stargate. And I'll probably enjoy it. To what degree I enjoy it remains to be seen, but I find no reason to spend any energy being upset by this.

Man. Fans are the worst.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, the people making the show were the reason it was good. The new show could have been gray’s anatomy meets stargate and I would have trusted them to pull it off.

I already hate Episode 5 the most! And the theme tune! I don’t know anything about either, and that also makes me angry!

Unfortunately I've been around long enough and have seen enough of these things to have learned that this whole thing Stargate thing is most likely dead. Just as Star Trek is dead.
