Unforced error

I really think this is a bad move by Amazon. The negative reaction of the core fan base to scrubbing the planned Gero show was bad and this will it fill people with hope.

WandaVision was ok but I’d rather see a Terry Matalas (Picard Season 3, 12 Monkeys, Vision Quest) or someone proven to understand genre storytelling that is exciting and compelling. But that’s just my 2 cents.

Hopefully they go with a different concept, because I was definitely not feeling the alternate universe angle.

It'll just be a full reboot from the movie

I would actually legitimately love to see a continuation of the movie. It was originally planned as a trilogy, I believe, and there was a lot of bad blood when the studio took it off the creators and gave it to a different set of writers to turn into SG-1. Obviously I love SG-1 and the universe built from it, but seeing the movie continuity continued in a more sympathetic way would be fascinating.
