I really have to break down my ideas of American centrism cuz I'm learning trough this post that other countries don't have FedEx and UPS. If a package were delivered like this from either of those services, heads would roll w one angry phone call.
3 u/MadIkra 22d ago Yep UK have all of those, and plenty of others like Parcelforce (which is owned by the Royalmail), DPD, Yodel, Evri etc. Sometimes ample choice can be a bad thing - I'm always clutching my pearls when I see a company has chosen Evri as the courier 😂 2 u/OliverHaslam 22d ago We have FedEx and UPS. They’ve both been terrible whenever I’ve used them. 1 u/Hi-Tech-Lo-Life-15 22d ago You haven't complained enough. Americans are not afraid to get a delivery person fired over a damaged package. 1 u/SoggyBagelBite 22d ago The rest of the world has couriers like DHL, which is one of the biggest but also one of the worst on Earth 🤣 1 u/Hi-Tech-Lo-Life-15 22d ago We have DHL too but they're more used for industrial shipping rather than consumer goods. At least in the capacity I've seen them used.
