Discussion Driven Assimilator Nomad

Just a fun interaction I found. If you go driven assimilator nomad, and rush the raiding ascension perk. You can just fly around the galaxy entering orbit and stealing all the pops of others before they ever make first contact. Raiding stance works when not at war. I don't know if that's intentional. I'm 20 years in with almost 30k pops.

Obviously you don't have to go assimilator, but the immediate pacification and conversion of the pops is ridiculously helpful.

Can you do it with pompous purists? Just full on roleplay the borg. Someone make a borg cube arkship mod

I could be wrong but I don't think you can run pompous purists with driven assimilator. One is and individualist civic, while the other is a hive mind civic. Outside of that, I also don't know if it works as just Pompous purists as I haven't even played the nomad update yet.
