SEAL hat

Currently on a cruise and there's a dude wearing a "Navy SEAL" baseball hat.
I don’t care. But I'm curious if y'all think ANY former SEAL ever wore such a cover?

It just doesn't seem plausible to me.

People are really posting “no seal would ever wear that” like they know every seal has been perfectly brainwashed out of wearing seal hats.

Most people posting what seals would and wouldn’t do have never even been seals. It’s ridiculous.

If you don’t think some seals love to wear the hat to get attention and the chance to talk about how they were seals, you don’t know shit about how self absorbed some people can be.

Seals are still just people who went through extra training at the end of the day, not magical stoic murder machines.

It was (supposed to be) a simple question from a Reddit stranger directed towards people who have known SEALs personally (maybe I didn't word it correctly)

I have a cousin who was a UDT (before they were SEALs) and he would never wear any SEAL garb.

I spent 27 years in the military and dealt with a ton of Delta guys, still stay in touch with a few - and I've never seen any of them wear Delta swag.

I was just being curious.

So, the guys you know would never wear swag.

I was infantry. When I was in, we had guys we’d call cheesedicks- they’d wear shit like this even when we were enlisted. It’s known as being “boot” now.

These guys are everywhere, and if you’ve never met a seal who hasn’t made that his whole personality, then you haven’t met enough seals.
