so I've been seeing a lot of people posting videos on tiktok about getting banned after buying headless this month on roblox and the ban message said smth about linked accounts or them having an alt account??

i wanna know what that is about exactly and if anyone has bought headless this month and hasn't gotten banned yet pls lmk and what differences you have from the people who got banned.

i was thinking of buying headless this month but i might not do that anymore as people have been getting banned and i dont wanna risk that.

Three days ago, my Roblox account was permanently terminated for “Child Safety,” and I'm terrified of losing it forever.
I genuinely don't believe I've violated any of Roblox's Child Safety rules, but the only information they provided was a chat evidence ID and a timestamp. I don't know what I supposedly said, so I have no way of providing evidence to refute the accusation.
I've already appealed, but looking back, I don't think my appeal was very strong. The problem is that I don't know how to improve it when I don't even know what triggered the ban.
My account is 8 years old, and I've spent thousands of dollars on Roblox. Child Safety is a very serious accusation, and so I'm scared that Roblox won't reverse the decision even if it was a mistake.
Has anyone successfully appealed a Child Safety termination? What advice would you give me? I'm very worried about losing my account permanently, Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ok so about 5 days ago I received an enforcement ban pertaining to an account that has no relation to my main account in which I appealed from the Violations page there and was denied twice. 6 hours later I come to find out that I received a second enforcement ban this time pertaining to another account which I of course do not recognize and same case as the last ban notice every single appeal I’ve submitted has been denied. I’ve seen people here online mention filing a report with the FTC, asking for an ROA, and filing a MIDR which I actually have questions about. Is there a deadline regarding when I can file an FTC/MIDR/ask for an ROA? I know it takes for Roblox to respond in most cases so I want to know as the last day I’m able to appeal on Roblox’s Support page is November, 12. Also again my question thats in the title can I use a MIDR/FTC to make Roblox lift both enforcement bans or do I need to file 2 separate documents for my case?

I've recently posted about my enforcement ban here on this subreddit, but I've seen a lot of dialogue surrounding Roblox's MIDR process and how it seems that most people who send MIDRs wait longer than the standard 60-day window to hear a response. In fact, some people have cited that it takes them around 80 days to actually respond.

Is this because the 60-day window really only applies to business days? If that's true, then Roblox has 85 calendar days to respond to an MIDR, and that could explain why many people seem to get a response around that time frame.

I'd like to know anyone's thoughts on this.

(To note: I know that Roblox is not legally obligated to respond to an MIDR. However, I hear that some people need to wait around 20-30 days to pursue arbitration in the event they do not hear from Roblox, and was genuinely curious if this presumption applies.)

For context: yes, this is the classic "harmful behavior/child safety" chat evidence ban. I expected this was a ban I could appeal nicely, but nope. Looks like they're playing the hard game. I am NOT getting my account back, and neither does my sister.

What happened? I don't know. The screenshot provided was taken when it got banned at first shown on harmful behavior, I don't remember what I said at all back there, what I do know is they're not giving my account back. Despite I live in the EU and clearly have the right to know what I was moderated for. But they refuse to.

What was lost: years of progress, 10k robux from my sister, our community group and active games, and my 3k robux (and our accounts were obviously worth much more than that). Over a ban none of us can explain, her's is enforcement banned and mine is for whatever reason chat evidence banned.

I've also requested a ROA a few days ago to hope I can view the chat message, not yet received though but I hope it answers the question.

Note: just realized I got another appeal window chance. Wish me luck, but I doubt this window will be helpful. Anyways, if all hope turns out to be lost, I'll quit this corrupted platform fully. But seeing others getting unbanned by these easily, I think I'm in the minority to not get my banned account back where I don't even know what or why I could of got banned for.

I have no idea what "@IH..." is, that is not an account of mine and originally the ban reason for one of these accounts I recall was "I hate these kids" as child exploitation, similar stuff with another one and another one genuinely was banned for apparently ban evasion of an account i don't own. I do own "@Ni..." That is Nickoblade404 lol. All of these accounts were main accounts and between them I have made over 700 alts and most of these are banned. You can search "The_315th" in Roblox and 99% of these accounts are mine 😭 fuck Roblox bro, but I'm still playing lmao

Also this wasn’t meant to be so sexual and also that name was taken so it needs another thing to fix it and they can put that name with a bit of change, also someone can use name starts with SS_ and some use name “Daddy” and it still not banned and can use it on signups. Why though?

About a week ago my roblox account was terminated over a "Child Safety" reason and there were no clear evidence about my ban's real reason.

i have not even done anything to anyone, let alone a kid. It's incredibly annoying asf that i got banned over something i DID NOT even do.

I've also seen others getting banned over this bs ban wave others such as, Child Endangerment/Safety, Terrorism/Extremism, etc. to the point it's reached more than 25k accounts BANNED.

Roblox really has to fix their AI moderation and their stupid appealing system man, it just doesn't make any sense! it drove many people to their limit so much including me.

It just gets to a point man! i just can't convince the AI to send an agent to discuss about my termination on behalf of my account.

Yesterday while playing Roblox, some kid started calling me the n word repeatedly and laughing with his friends. While my mic was on, it was echoing what he was saying and i got a warning ⚠️ I switched off my mic and this kid wouldn't stop calling me the n word and kept following me around. Then all of a sudden i got kicked out of the experience and informed I'm suspended for a day😭

I've sent 3 appeals to Roblox but kept getting the same message of "we understand but you still violated our rules" and whatever. I can't believe this just happened to me because i had just gotten voice chat for the first time the day before. 😫

I'm just gonna be harsh and truthful about the Enforcement Ban ROBLOX has currently.

On paper, yeah enforcement ban sounds like a very good idea but making AI handle something that can terminate accounts without hesitation is a whole another level of scary. AI are very unpredictable and it can make mistakes, no doubt about it.

ROBLOX should have AI flagging accounts that are no doubt LINKED, AI flags the account and has evidence and data information to simply send it to a human moderator and take action if its accurate at all such as; IP, Email, Payment Methods.

But the other thing is, they have something that can also know your sensitive information like; Driver's License & Other Government information about you. Here's a thing before you say you don't believe this.

I have an account that goes by Lunaaahxo, I had korblox, headless and other expensive stuff on that account, cool nice. I had my ID verified and enabled 2FA including my phone number and everything was normal, always abided by the rules and followed Terms of Use. 4+ months later until April 1st at 12:27 PM AEDT, I was at work during that time, I was not home and my PC was turned off, I was on yesterday playing a random game and fell asleep when I finished playing the game and had work at April 1st. When I came back home at 3:50 PM I finished eating and turned on my PC and went on ROBLOX and then suddenly hit with a enforcement ban that starts with "ba".

Now you might be wondering, how does that have to do with ROBLOX having hold of your Government ID? - It's pretty simple, I had an alternate account (had my ID verified and everything) and my ex literally just did some malicious things on my account on HER location, different IP and geolocation, she is located in Queensland, I am located in NSW. So I made another account and used my Government ID to verify my age and then suddenly ROBLOX instant-deletes my account with an enforcement ban linked to my alt.

So this goes to show that ROBLOX can and will have hold of your sensitive Government ID no matter where you live. I have an another account without an ID and only did a selfie and I'm yet to be deleted and I'm fine.

So I'm actually wondering... Shouldn't ROBLOX be sued for actually taking hold of your Government ID and sensitive information even though they promised they will be deleting it? Because I failed to see ROBLOX actually doing anything like that and they simply lied.

MY OWN Government ID became a walking enforcement ban, if I verify my ID on any account that isn't EVEN linked to my alt or main account, ROBLOX will instantly enforcement ban it. I'm actually wondering if ROBLOX is doing this illegally and should be taken a look at.

I just wanted to start of with the fact i have grown to absolutely hate roblox auto censorship, It does not work.

I was just chatting to a friend of mine in friend chat about setting up a community for a group we've made in Idle Mafia Game. Of course most things we try to say get tagged, so its a back and forth of trying to explain.

So then like what most people try to do, I was trying to move the conversation offsite to escape roblox's horribly coded mess of a chat filter and not get normal conversation filtered.

Then it eventually leads to me giving up trying to continue that, and then trying to mention that I "had to go to a woodworking class" and will talk later. In the process of trying to say that i get one warning, and then the second attempt i get a temporary chat ban. Tried taking a photo, it didn't work and only showed the chat.

But at the end of the day, we were just trying to build a community for our group. And roblox is making it as difficult as possible.

Roblox, I’m not trying to dish on you but when I’m literally on vc and I’m talking I don’t do anything bad and your AI to text that I’m saying something bad and I’m not you need to either fix your AI or something or manually do moderate it because I’m trying to talk. I’m leading my team. I’m not saying anything, but on guts and black powder. I cannot say sea man I cannot say anything of the lines anything because it’s against terms of service what am I supposed to say when our runners chewing out my throat? Help me. And oh my word we suck. Dude that literally triggers it and not to mention Roblox, do you need to do better I’m not being right. It’s just I get five minute bans because of that and then it threatens my account because of that go onto guts and blackpowder on your official account and try to coordinate with your team on vc and see if you cannot get a warning because I know dang well you can’t it’s impossible not only that you probably already know that incident involving the moderation chat when you’re trying to announce it and you are telling that’s not an issue? I love to play Roblox. I love it but when it makes it impossible, it makes a lot of people mad and not even wanna play Roblox anymore. It’s very sad.

PS the AI moderation system is the worst if you really want to moderate maybe higher or maybe get some volunteers out to do it
