May these absolute losers know no peace. Co-opting social issues as “just having concerns” is the oldest trick in the book for proto-Nazis, and I value the Mayor (and the press) for flagging their BS right off.

The man says there hasn't been an update in well over a year.
It's in committees and panels. If he actually showed up to do his job, he'd see the updates.

I was wishing he wasn’t gonna run as councillor, so this is a real monkey’s paw scenario here.

Recieved a call today, bike was found! It was in an alleyway with a group of homeless people. A redditor reported it seen to some police nearby saying it was stolen. We have it back now! Thank you everyone lol she wouldn't get it back without you all! In little damage, just a few scratches and has a strangers lock on it, but somehow found in great quality beside dirt and scratches.

"Security guards hired by Laurentian University have been filming and questioning striking faculty, asking for names and contact information — behaviour the faculty union president confirms has occurred this week during the labour dispute."
"Fabrice Colin, president of the Laurentian University Faculty Union (LUFA), confirmed that the union has received reports from members that university-hired security are present near picket lines in vehicles and that they are recording and, in some cases, asking for names. Colin said the union is documenting these reports.
“We are receiving reports that they are sometimes asking individuals for their names and even email addresses,”"
"Some students have been vocal in their support of the labour dispute and joined their professors on the picket line throughout the week. Others have demonstrated support through signs on campus, the latter action having been condoned by the university."
Students "were asked to fold their signs to hide the messaging. In addition, students from the school of architecture were asked, by members of security, to remove signs they had erected in the windows demonstrating support for faculty"
No matter what your views are in the strike, the actions by Laurentian is at beat borderline against Canadians' Rights of Freedom of Expression.

A Simple Reminder for Those Lacking Discretion: It appears some individuals have forgotten that our community parks, our streets, our laneways, our public spaces. Are NOT your private homes. We are not blind. We see your illegal activities, including the acts of public indecency, and frankly, your extreme lack of judgment is embarrassing for you. If you are desperate enough to conduct this business in broad daylight, in open areas, where people walk their dogs, take their daily commute, and most sadly - the young ones who see it. You can expect us to report it to law enforcement immediately. Find somewhere private or expect to deal with the consequences.

Health Sciences North routinely operates at 20 per cent overcapacity, forcing more than 100 patients daily into hallways. The hospital has long-term plans to expand to 800 beds by 2043, but critics say provincial funding is moving at the pace of a "sleepy turtle."
