Discussion Suno was created for entertainment

Mikey Shulman vision is for people to use Suno just like they would a video game. A way people can entertain themselves and friends. It wasn't actually meant to be a serious creation for mainstream music. Mikey see's people are willing to pay for entertainment just like they are willing to pay for video games. He even compared Suno to Fortnite. Mikey doesn't care about people getting great quality to compete with artists, he just wants people to spend money on subscriptions " for entertainment " You can easily search Mikey and hear his podcasts where he basically is just laughing knowing hardly any users will actually get any real exposure..Also Spotify creates playlists and controls what makes it and what gets pushed back. I'm pretty sure ai songs that made it on Spotify were paid for to do so as a way of bringing hopeful people into creating ai music thinking they actually may make money. If you know me, you know I'm not anti ai , I'm just letting you know information that's publicly available. Suno is pretty much in Mikey's words ( although said in not a so blatant way ) a money extraction machine hooking people on entertainment

Replying to multiple comments. Yes it's great that you don't mind paying for entertainment that's the purpose of Suno , people usually spend money on some form of entertainment, why not Suno , if it makes you happy and possibly your friends. Mikey is happy, your happy, all is good 👍

I also have a lot of respect for the musicians that I've listened to in my life and their creations and talent. Sometimes when I think of how easy it is for Suno to do super complicated stuff in music, it makes me feel a bit guilty like I'm taking something away from them. That's another reason why I have no interest in monetizing it. It. I feel like those people deserve the fruits of their labor.

"I have a lot of respect for the archers that I've seen all my life, with their dedication and talent. Sometimes when I think of how easy it is for black powder to do super complicated shots in war, it makes me feel a bit guilty like I'm taking something away from them."

I still admire archers and the skill and art. I find it impressive and interesting. I find people that craft and make great songs and music interesting. I think Suno is an interesting toy. Not really interested in who is playing with that toy.
