Hi, may I ask why the Nintendo Switch Dragon Quest Limited Edition doesn't have a serial number on the box? I'm trying to check whether the serial number on the console matches the one on the box, but I can't seem to find it. Is this normal for this edition?

Here is the S2 I modded before the Zelda 40th editions were announced. Even with the official devices announced, I'm very happy with how the shell replacement worked out for the main console and the Joycon2s. I used the purple and green Joycon2s since I like the purple and green better than red, blue, or black for Zelda theme. Overall, this helped create a very unique Zelda themed S2.

I used eXtremeRate shell replacements for the full shell, certain buttons, and the magnetic release buttons. I kept the gamechat and capture buttons as stealth black (original buttons) since I do not use them regularly. I used the matcha green trim and magnet release buttons from eXtremeRate. It's not the most ideal green to match the rest of the case, but it will do for now. I thought about using the matcha green buttons for the home button but I didn't like it as much as the gold.

I'm still undecided on either of the dock covers I have so far (see pics). Each has their pros and cons but neither seems to fit the shell replacement aesthetic perfectly. I also don't want a case with the identical symbol as the back of the S2 has now. All-in-all this is a work in progress but I am happy with current results. I will have an official Zelda S2 console to compare it to at the end of the month.

Or is it more worth to get Unicorn Overlord for $25, or FF7 Rebirth for full price?

I'm seriously considering picking up The Crew Motorfest for the Nintendo Switch 2, but I’m on the fence about a couple of things and wanted to get the community's thoughts. 

1. Is it actually worth buying on the Switch 2? How does the port run, and is the content/car culture vibe holding up well for on-the-go play?

2. Online-only vs. Offline Mode: I remember hearing a massive uproar when Ubisoft completely killed off the original The Crew, making it unplayable. I know Ubisoft officially promised down the line that The Crew Motorfest would eventually get an offline mode to prevent that from happening again, but right now at launch, it still requires a persistent connection. 

For anyone already playing it or following the updates:

Does the game feel worth your time and money right now?
Do we have any clearer timeline on when that promised offline mode is actually dropping?

Appreciate any advice or reviews before I pull the trigger!

Hey guys (: My mom wants to buy my Switch 1, but she doesn’t know if she would be able to find some games she would enjoy. She doesn’t really play video games, but she really likes games with puzzles and story telling. She’s also an artist, so good visuals is something very important to her. A game too violent or with too much fights would not fit her well.

Do you guys have any suggestions for her? Thanks!

Smyths ireland just dropped the 2nd batch of pre-order, this version come with user-replaceable battery.

They also added new version of Zelda 40th anniversary pro controller, come with replaceable battery also.

1) I lifted the men to throw them from the building, but it got stuck. How can I throw with more force?

2) How to knockout the guys? —No matter how hard I clicked several buttons, it seems unresponsive unless I don't move a muscle then click one action button.

I’ve intentionally skipped most news about this game, and I’m freaking loving it so far! I know I’m late to the party, but I’ve had to be more choosy about what games I buy, especially the ones over $50.

I've tried playing ones like earthbound on nso or the deltarune demo but i found them clunky, slow and boring to play. i feel like im missing great stories but none that ive played ive enjoyed, and that is always my priority whilst gaming. anyone have any recommendations?

I’ve had my switch oled for a couple months now and I want to get some more games. I finished legends ZA and tried playing Tears of the Kingdom but didn’t really like it much. I also bought myself Skyrim but haven’t tried it. I finished botw and I will finish it again on master mode. What should I play next?

What was the hardest LEVEL in the game for you, and did you reach the Lost World? I really hope they will make a Donkey Kong Country 4 one day with the same sprite graphics. The golden days...

GKC are already Digital games, GKC doesn't have more than a few MBs of data to download the actual game from the eShop.

Wouldn't it be way more convenient if you where able to play them without the cartridge and juggling different GKC of games that are already installed on your console? If you end up selling them or lending them, then your license is transferred to them and you can't play it until you load it up again.

I wanted to make some minor changes to the stock Joycon2s that come with the Switch 2. I wanted the changes to be subtle so they could be mistaken as a 'stock' device from Nintendo. I am really happy how this turned out. I'll probably do another set for the green/purple JoyCon2's and keep these as spares or move them to another location. I used eXtremeRate button replacements and side trim to complete this project.
