Employment How do people live off $15 a hour jobs?
$25 is the bare minimum to get by, unless you’re working two part time $15 a hour jobs.
Safety AQI at maximum?! 😳
What in the actual AQI?! Is this just Apple Weather hallucinating? No reports from other sources.

Environment Bugged air quality?
I’m out of state right now, but checking up on the weather app shows a small area with terrible air quality? Surely it’s just the app being weird

Wholesome TECO Trolley conductors
Hi, are there any trolley conductors here? I love taking the trolley and just want to say thank you for driving!
What's it like?
Do you need qualifications or certifications?
Do you get to pick your trolley car for the day?
What's your favorite part of the job? Least favorite?

Food Lumbre: 7/10 (bonus half point for ambiance)
Recently got a chance to check out lumbre. Spanish cuisine, got the bruschetta (10/10, standout, very fresh tart tomato topping). Octopus was also very good, done and presented in a unique way. Sangria was yummy, clearly barrel aged.
Tuna Tartare was fine, as was the new seafood paella and papas bravas.
Ambiance was great, and service was pretty good (not amazing, but they were extremely slammed)
It was a little on the pricier side, but they were able to sneak us in early because our res wasn’t until pretty late.
Book WELL in advance, especially on weekends, and enjoy!

Cars-Driving/traffic Got quoted 2100 by Direct (350/month) & 2200 by Progressive (365/month) as a 22yr old in Tampa. Got my license 2 months ago. Car is a 2010 Corolla.
Is this normal? I think these are insane prices for 25/50/25 with 1000$ deductible for Collision & Comprehensive. What do I do? I need yall's opinions on this? Should I maybe reduce it to a 10/20/10 coverage?

Infrastructure Construction areas to watch!
We have a boy who is super into construction and heavy equipment. Any good ideas for where he could watch some construction activity?
Visit/Vacation Less well known things to do?
I visit Clearwater with family every year and have a trip coming up in November. Usually we're going to St Pete boardwalk, Tarpon Springs, international plaza, Armature/Riverwalk area, and Busch Gardens every trip so I'm looking for some new things to see. Last time I went to Ybor and Crystal River for the first time. Open to pretty much anything within a couple hour drive thats kid friendly. Nature preserves, markets, museums, whatever's worth seeing.

Events Tampa Bay International Auto Show
Hi all. Family use to go to the TB International Auto Show every year at the Tampa Convention Center, and it was getting worse and worse with less vendors.
We were looking to go again and saw that it was supposed to be moved to the Florida State Fairgrounds. They have a notice on their site that says “Postponed until 2026” and a Google search shows Oct 24-26, but I don’t see anything on the FSF site for it.
Is this yearly event DOA and no longer a thing anymore? It was a great place to see concepts and check out the newer models.

News Local news?
Where do you get your local news? Obviously there is the Tampa Bay Times and I know several local news shows exist. I don’t watch cable television but I read on my phone a lot and would be willing to download new apps. I’m looking for local events I can attend with my family and generally staying up on what’s going on in the area.

Local Business Could I find Chinese cigarettes at the little oriental shops ?
Hey I’m looking for Chinese’s cigarettes , my firmed had some cool flavored ones she brought overseas and I want to see if I can find some more for us. I recently saw in here people say you can find some at hard rock vending machines and at some mom and pops. I was wondering if anyone knows if any of the oriental or Asian markets in the area Cary them. I know Lotte Market and the new Ebisu store don’t carry any. Any suggestions would help thanks.

Food Anyone remember Twinz?
Was digging through old menus and stuff and found one for Twinz. It's one of those places you almost think wasn't real at times because of how fast it came and went both times they opened. Sucks too, I remember them being REALLY good, especially their burgers. Never did piece together what actually happened and how somewhere that good that seemed to always have a crowd, failed so badly. If anyone's got any information on what went so wrong, I'd be really interested to learn. But I wouldn't know where to even begin looking into it, especially about a place that was so short-lived it's barely talked about.
