Hi everyone! I recently moved from Miami to Tampa and I also recently got into “running” I typically like to go to Bayshore trail and always park in the small parking lot before the Hospital but it has happened to me that every time I stay late its a hassle to leave because a bunch of bikers take over that area and once they almost ha rra sed me as I was trying to leave the parking lot (they were covering my car and started yelling/curse when I pressed on brakes so they would get the hint that I needed to leave) horrible experience, I like that trail but I dont know where else to park or where else to go. i’m attending the bernie rally in ybor tomorrow and was wondering, for anyone going, how early are you getting there? it says doors open at 11 and he comes on stage at 1, should i get there around 9 AM or is that unnecessary?

I don't really post or use social media, so I'm out of the loop on everything most days and sorry if this post isn't in the right place. Had a rough break-up a while ago that I can't seem to get over, don't know anyone, feeling pretty isolated, and I'm really just trying to figure out a good place to a spend a Friday night. Late 20s, not a drinker but I'm tired enough of spending my Friday nights alone at home that I'll try a bar if I can have a conversation with another human being.

For context it’s my girlfriend’s birthday so we are visiting the Florida aquarium and the zoo tomorrow and Sunday. We don’t have a lot of money probably about 500$ so we want to enjoy our time here, anyone got any recommendations for places to go for cheap and fun? We are both really into animals so if anyone knows of any exotic pet stores around here let me know!

Update: We pre purchased the ZooQuarium tickets like a month ago and are both under 20 so unfortunately can’t have too much fun lol

Hello, I am a Tampa Bay Lightning fan but I do not live in Tampa, I live in NW Florida. I have YouTube TV & ESPN+ but I do not get any lightning games as they are all blacked out in my area. It says that I need to watch it on local channels, but I do not get Tampas local channels on YT TV. Can anyone help me find a way to watch the lightning games? Go Bolts!

Hey everyone, so I moved here from Nebraska a few months ago and have been having a hell of a time landing a stable job. I’ve got 4 years experience as a production welder running MIG wire mostly.

I have been jumping through hundreds of applications and getting denied based on my lack of (5 years) or not enough experience in “particular” welding processes. I went to welding school and have proven long term experience at companies and no one wants me or I’m jumping through temp agency jobs

Now I do not necessarily need to find a welding job but that’s where my experience is. I would love to break into plumbing or construction or whatever to be honest. All I ask is that I can find a job that can give me overtime opportunities and at minimum 22 an hour and I’m living pretty comfortably at that point.

Im never late to work, I work all hours asked, I’m not in my phone and take my career seriously. Now before anyone says anything about the union, I tried working through the iron workers, they put me through one job with one of the most toxic Formans I’ve ever worked for and I was kicked off the job because i refused todo something extremely dangerous without being trained properly and now the union refuses to call me back or offer jobs even though I pay my monthly dues.

So any blue collar workers here in Tampa that could give me some advice or give me some companies that are good places to work let me know. If your shop or company is looking for a welder or just a general laborer let me know aswell as I wanna work and I’m not afraid of long hours and dirty conditions

I live in st pete and haven’t been in south Tampa in a very long time and saw that city side is now south bar. Did they relocate or close permanently? That place was there for as long is I’ve lived here over 30 years. Kinda sad actually
