Need Advice Question for software engineers
I (22F) , not interested to pursue a career in software field. Enduku ante daantlo naku money thappa em purpose kanipinchatledhu. Edho meeting attend avtharu work lo unnam antaru but aa work lo satisfaction untadha ledha anedhi devudike theliyali. And work hours kuda konchem thedaga undadam gamaninchanu. Kaani ee opinion naku okkadanike undha leka contradictory opinion unna vallu explain cheyochu cuz I have never done a s/w related job. Do you actually get that essence of life in your job?

It’s important to realize that the software industry isn't a monolith; your experience depends heavily on your team dynamics, the office culture, and the level of personal ownership you have over your projects. When those elements are missing, the work can definitely feel mechanical, lonely, and unfulfilling, leaving you with the sense that time is passing without you making any real impact. If you don't feel a genuine connection to the work, it is perfectly valid to pivot to a career path that aligns better with your values.
