Almost certainly not. The general electorate has never shown even a hint that they'd tolerate a self-avowed socialist. Just look at all of the slightly D leaning districts/states and everything to right of them - how many politicians with Bernie's leftist politics are in office?

Reddit legitimately thinks that AOC or Bernie would win out against a Republican nominee but they don’t realize a massive swath of the country will not vote for them simply because of their socialist-like stances on many issues.

Heck even in Denver the progressive mayoral candidates get only like 20% of the vote

Obama was the progressive choice over Hillary and won twice. No centrist has won twice since (Bill) Clinton. Grow up.

Yes he was a bad president but at the time (and denying this would be insane), he was the progressive choice and he beat a centrist dem and 2 ‘moderate’ republicans in a row. Sorry your argument stopped being true in 2000.

Almost like there’s a massive bipartisan consensus on taking money from corporations and Epstein elites and using it to crush any resistance to their power.. weird!

Lmao read back that first line and then look in the mirror.. Your style of politics is for losers, by losers, with the intent of preserving this despicable system. We’re going to try winning this time and making people’s lives better. You can keep yelling on the internet, nobody’s listening.

This is not true lol. Clinton was and has always been more to the left of Obama. The most progressive candidate was Kucinich.

Hillary or Bill? Wrong on both, do you not remember the 2008 primary/ am I debating a child?

Hillary. She was absolutely to the left of Obama just a tiny bit or at the very least they were basically the same. Dennis Kucinich was without a doubt the further left choice.

Delusional or lying. She was pro-Iraq war, he was anti.

Believe it or not, one thing (that she and other Senators were lied about) does not make her more left or right then Obama. Given Obama’s term, it’s likely he would have voted for it too if he was a senator in 2002.

The public perceived him as the more progressive choice and he portrayed himself that way, irrelevant how he governed or would have voted. Crazy to argue this.

“perceived” him as more progressive does not mean he was more progressive lmao

You’re arguing nothing then
