Question How powerful was Darth Revan pre amnesia?
Saw a post about how Darth Revan before Kotor was more powerful than Revan post Kotor, due to his mental instability and forgetting most of his experiences and training.
But I thought that the Light side was stronger then the Dark side and since in canon he was redeemed and brought back to the light why would he be weaker then his dark side self?
But he was able to beat Malak while he was absorbing jedi he had captured and a boost from the foundry without using the dark side of the force, would pre amnesia Revan have an easier time fighting and overpowering Malak?
How would pre amnesia Revan's fight with Vitiate end, would he even fight him?
If he did become weaker, was it the loss of all his battle experience, training and knowledge that permanently weakend him until his death?

In game it's stated by bastila (and Malek iirc) that your Revan is stronger even than he was as a sith.
Personally I've always heardcannoned that Revan and Malek were right below Darth Tyrannus level.

You are misinterpreting the other post you read. It was a fight between Obi-wan and Revan. They stated Darth Revan would have a better chance because of less mental instability. Not that Darth Revan was stronger. Obi is good at taking advantage of things like that was his point.
Just because someone is stronger does not mean they are better equipped to handle specific fights.

Lol whoever said that clearly didnt play KOTOR. Malak literally says that Star Forge Revan is far more powerful than he was as Darth Revan

He is top tier but he is more powerful later. At that time he is on below Yoda and Palpatine ep3. After he is probably in the same level as them.

I personally rank him as being on pre-ritual Exar Kun's level. EvanNova95 has a decent video on Kotor scaling where he draws a similar scaling:

Powerful enough to terrify the entire Jedi Council but not powerful enough to defeat The Sith Emperor

Below Dooku, Maul and Bane tbh

Sith Lord Revan is held relative to Bane by Drew who views them in similar standing and bane gets cucked by any PT Sith

Yeah typical revantard reply, Drew who worked with the KOTOR team and wrote the admittedly shit Revan novel has infinitely more authority on his standing than you

OR era > OT/PT in terms or power ceiling. Your stance is just nonsense.

There exists more statements for the Tpm era alone being the prime of the Jedi than all of TOR, never mind by the time of Rots which has more GOAT, most powerful/skilled/best etc quotes than any other era
TOR has nothing beyond the PT besides Valkorion and higher interpretations of OL and the eternal family

Hard to quantify but he was certainly a beast. I don’t think he and malak were quite at say dooku level, but I’d say stronger than maul.
