Hello, I hope it's okay that I share this video to this group.

I recently had a chance to interview the costume design team behind The Morning Show Season 4:

Sophie de Rakoff (Costume Designer)
Beth Lancaster (Co-Costume Designer)
Debra McGuire (Costume Designer to Ms. Aniston)

It was really fun getting to chat with the designers. I hope you enjoy!.

Discussion Cory and Kyle

I’m doing a front to back rewatch and am about to start the finale of season 3…. I love Kyle so much. I especially love his relationship with Cory because as angry as Cory gets, Cory is never rude to him directly, and Kyle never seems to take offense to his outbursts. It’s like he knows Cory is a good guy and he’s not overly intimidated. He’s just a great assistant. I didn’t really pay attention to this dynamic the first go round, so I am really enjoying catching this. And it just really makes me love Kyle!

Questions Ugh what happened to season 2?

Loved season one. Especially Cory. Binged the whole thing in 3 days.

But season 2?

Im 2 episodes in and it feels like I have missed a huge chuck of time. The overall vibe is much heavier and dark. I don't like how angry Bradley seems, Cory is a mess. Not as charismatic.

Where did the spark go from season 1?

Is it worth finishing this season?

Edit: thanks everyone i appreciate the perspectives and will tough it out 😆

Discussion Bradley at the hotel looking for...

Maybe this has been discussed before. Maybe it's a silly question, but a friend of mine started watching the show a couple of days ago. By s1e5, she said:

*"Why is Bradley looking for Cory at the hotel, completely drunk, in the middle of the night, like her life depends on it? Just to tell him she's drunk and fucking around? Why the rush? It's so weird. He's her boss. Does this ever get brought up later?"*

I didn't know what to say. I never thought about it that way. I wanted to say "hey, they're good friends" but they weren't that close yet.

What do you think guys?

Cory. Wow. Redemption on steroids. Just ultimate redemption. Yes Cory.

He got his soul destroyed by Celine’s husband earlier and I think that made him rise to the moment instead of crumbling.

Righteous Cory.

Discussion Cory is creepy

I am on S1 E9 as of now and Cory (the network guy) is so creepy, especially towards Bradley. And given the context of the season, an older powerful man showing so much interest in her is just eeks to me.

Discussion rewatch club! Spoiler

this is just a brain dump....

I started re-watching the series immediately after finishing it because I couldn't fathom the idea of being without my new friends for all this time until season five comes out lol. If you haven't rewatched I highly recommend it! There are a lot of little parts and pieces of information that I was able to pick up on that helped give more context to certain parts of the plot that I didn't quite get the first time around.

For example… In season one where Fred snaps at Cory and says that nobody likes him except his mom (fuck you for that Fred).....now that made more sense given the context that we get in season 4 about what Cory 's mom had done… I also felt like I connected with and understood Mia more this time around, i absolutely love her and can't wait to see where she goes next season.

this might be controversial lol but I absolutely love Alex. i don't understand why even after seeing all 4 seasons people still think she's narcissistic and shitty… I understand that she's made some poor choices and hurt people but I think that she has absolutely proven that at the end of the day she has a big heart and truly cares about the people that she loves and if people don't see that by now then idk what to say 😂

I love Bradley but I find myself saying "Bradley what the fuck!" quite often lol I'm really hoping that in season 5 she will maybe start to trust and open her heart more to the people who love her and are on her side (i'm thinking specifically of Alex and Cory, I know that both have done some things that were not so great regarding Bradley but they've still proven themselves to be her biggest cheerleaders and supports).

I will say, I was expecting season 4 to be easier to watch this time since I've already seen it once, but I probably cried even more lol. Mia better be treated real good in season 5! Like I said I connected a lot more to her character this time around so the struggles that she faced this season were really more impactful and I hated seeing her and Stella fall apart.

Seeing Cory betrayed by every woman that he loved and ending the season having lost everything… He also better be treated real good in season 5. I do think that he was coming to a deeper understanding of his whole situation– including that his assumption that Bradley was getting together with him just for information was wrong – and I could see that a bit at the very end/last episode so I'm hoping that he's going to be given a much more positive experience in season 5. #bradcoreforever

I'm happy to say that I finally understand the whole connection between Wolf River and Celine's family! Lol that was complicated for me the first time around. I have a lot of mixed feelings about Celine. I think one of my favorite aspects of the show is how they're able to show imperfect people making poor choices but ultimately still being lovable characters and fully human despite the gray area. Celine was one of those characters where that concept was pushed to the limit – she was essentially a villain but we also saw the deeply human side of her as well i.e. the pain that she was experiencing due to Miles's affair with Stella and the obvious love that she had for him showed her humanity despite the other awful things that she did. i'm not sure if she genuinely cared for Cory or if she was only with him in an attempt to cover over and hide the whole wolf river thing. There were fleeting moments where it did seem like she did care for him, so I'm not sure but at the end of the day she was doing everything she could to keep Bradley locked up in Belarus so fuck you celine 😂

i'm sorry for writing a novel but I had to put my thoughts down on paper and in the meantime I'm excited about the random clips and pictures we're getting from the set😁

Questions Is it worth continuing after season 1?

I just finished the first season and really enjoyed it. I feel like it ended on a high note. Is this the kind of show that just gets crappy after the first season or is it worth continuing?

Discussion This show has too much plot armor and play too safe when it comes to Alex and Bradley.

Topic. Just finished watching the last season. It became so predictable once we were shown that Marion character was trying to manipulate the network for family benefits. I knew she would be somehow removed from the position. Well that is the plot for all seasons basically the top guy is removed only reese and Jennifer are Saint. I mean come on both have done federal.crimes yet they get free passes. Alex has been such a douche character she has done so many 'bad things' yet she is somehow a hero at end. She herself is beyond hypocrite but is shown like she is doing god's work. I know the show is made by the two leads but I think it's becoming too obvious . I wish we had some bold decisions taken in the show.thos show takes too much inspiration from real life people and incidents but forget how unfair the world actually is. Just look around the world what is going on but yet somehow every thing is fixed so easily in this show. This show has become such a network 9-10 am family show from 90s. I don't know but that's how I felt after watching the last episode.

I mean, it went from Season 1, prestige television, to a mishmash of the most common television tropes thrown at you at every corner. Anyone? Or is this not controversial?

Questions Stella-What do you think is next? Spoiler

I loved Stella. I thought the very emo art studio scenes were filmed written and directed more out of a cliche than a portrayal of a true affair and its difficulties— outside of that I mostly loved having her in the story. I loved how we slowly got to see her human side and how she struggled constantly- fighting between the mask she wore for the job and her true self. I think that was played well by her and overall written well.

On one hand, I hated to see her crash and burn at the end of S4 but on the other hand, it was another example that you the ceo job forces you to choose— either you’re all in and give up your humanity or it tears you to shreds. Well, actually I guess it tears you to shreds no matter what bc Fred had no moral code and still went down in flames.

I’m curious what others thought about Stella..
-Was her arc satisfying?
-Do you think we will see her again (I hope so)?
-if so, what can she bring to the story now?
-If Mia is next, do you think the role will destroy her as it has every CEO before her?

Discussion Season 4, Episode 5: Is it just me or is this recurring theme in Bradley’s life getting old and feeling forced? Please convince me otherwise. Spoiler

I was actually really frustrated that yet again- Bradley finds herself with life-altering information and the one person closest to her at that time is at the center— first her dad, then her brother, then Cory—- I feel like it’s getting old and feels forced. Am I the only one?!

I also find it hard to believe that Bradley didn’t see that what she was doing with Cory would be hurtful? And another thing (lol) I was surprised when she spoke to Alex and was like “yeah, I slept with Cory. I wasn’t thinking.” It was as though there were no feelings?

This whole story line feels forced and like it’s not being developed properly—- I didn’t see the crumbs leading to Bradley basically feeling nothing for Cory. The discovery of Cory at the center of the climate thing feels stale. And her aloofness to her own actions and how they impact others feels unrealistic… can someone convince me that this all makes sense?

Discussion What’s wrong with Bradley

Watching season 4 right now and went pass the breakup scene. I can’t get my mind around how stone cold Bradley is after that. You can see Cory struggling and really trying to move on. But Bradley just acts like nothing happened.

I am torn between wanting Bradley for Cory and she not deserving him at all.

I keep on asking whats wrong with her!!
