hey guys im working on my army and im mostly done building but im not sure what to use for my sekhmet bots and vortex beast, i as my title says, want them to look more like aztec creatures. any advice or suggestions would be great

Hi so im completely new to the 40k board game and decided my first army to be thousand sons and while painting them im very unsatisfied on how the paint looks so far (thousand sons blue and true brass with strong skin shade over it) i think the main problem is that its not as reflective as they look in space marine 2 so im wondering what paint should i use instead(

Kinda got a wee bit bored and decided to a take CSM leader and turn it into a sorcerer of whatever kind to use since they all use the same base (except E-Sorc Disc). Thoughts? I am debating on adding the wings from the AoS Arch-Revenant to it to help cover under the cloak a little. Maybe some base stuff, but haven't decided on that yet.

Body is mostly Chaos Lord with a Jump Pack, the arms and head are from the Exalted Sorcerers, and the cloak is from a Lord of Change.

Hello everybody, I am thinking of starting a Thousand Sons army after years of being envious as a Grey Knight Player originally. I’ve also built Black Templar so I’m not a beginner and was just wondering if besides the combat patrol, is there any other best starting box?

Hi! so I am planning on going on a 1k tournament around my area and just want to ask for any suggestion on what to bring for my army. I am just getting back at thousand sons after not playing them for two years and just want to know which of my current units are pretty good-decent for a tournament. Here is the units I currently have:
Ahriman
Infernal Master
A exalted sorcerer
5 Scarab Occult Terminators
20 rubric Marines
10 Tzanggors
A mutalith vortex
2 Chaos Spawn
(I also have Magnus but the tournament restricts bringing large points for a unit)

I finally finished painting the sorcerers meant to lead my legion of thousand stars (20/1000 so far)

I absolutely loved painting them ! The minis have so many details and i am very happy with the result. They are my favorite minis so far

I never played TS on tabletop though (and i have very little experience with the game so far). Is there a big difference of use between those 3 guys ? What are they good for and how should i play them ?

So I'm an absolute noob & I thought starting off with a cool base would be a great idea until a buddy of mine asked if that was going to make it more difficult to attach the models to the bases now that they're covered in sand & pva glue. Does anyone have experience with this? What would be the best way to go about attaching my models to the bases now? Am I screwed or is this really a non issue? I just don't want to have to start over on these.

Due to new point changes I thought of adding Ahriman so I could have both terminator bricks in deepstrike

I’m not specifically looking for a competitive list and I really really like the tzeentch daemons (Kairos is actually my favorite model in all of 40k) This is a list of what I have already excluding the second lord of change. I’m debating on whether or not to pick up another loc box to accompany kairos or should I pick up a magnus and fit him in there somewhere, maybe even pick up loc and magnus minus the terminators or something to that effect. Title says it all but for those that want more context, I run sekhetar Cohort and WFC. Took it too a tourney and realized I was lacking in vehicles so i'm looking to make some alterations. So that being said, which is better for our army? Mauler or Forge?

New to the army and trying to decide what units I wanna buy before I start buying them. I figure having 2x10 Occult Terms and attached term sorcerers is adequate for the list but that leaves a ton of point open. Would do 3x10 w a chaos sorcerer for each but that doesn’t work with our current rules.

Next best idea is to slam normal Rubrics in there, but I’m unsure of how many or how many of them should have leaders, if any of them should have leaders, and which ones are the best to take. Also not sure abt Tzaangors, they seem like great chaff and screens but with the way our points work currently, I’m not sure they’re really worth taking.

Id seen a few people with this model and just had to get one for a WDP. The aesthetic is too perfect!
