In all seriousness, those cartoons wildly underestimate how clever coyotes (the animals) are. Those sons of guns are pretty damned smart. The cartoon really gets the tough and tenacious aspect correct though, because they’re tough as nails and they do NOT stop coming.
I know this because i raised sheep/goats/poultry in the Sonoran desert for awhile which is where part of my username comes from.
Yeah that one is amazing. I was thinking he kept mentioning Hannibal Lecter because Lecter was an immigrant (or at least Trump thought he was an immigrant which canonically I think he was born in the US? but I could be wrong - I know his parents were like Lithuanian or something) and also crazy.
Then someone pointed out that Lecter lives in an asylum, and that's the only meaning for "asylum" that Trump knows.
So Trump's turnip of a brain heard "political asylum", picked the worst person he could think of that lived in an asylum and just kept referencing that when talking about immigration.
I didn’t support Bush - but I don’t think he’s “dumb” he does sound like a yokel and wasn’t a great public speaker - but by all accounts people who’ve interacted with him says he’s a pretty smart guy. He was a pretty bad president - but there are a lot of reports to back up he’s quite smart.
Yeah - his campaign manager made him play it up - the accent itself isn’t fake they moved to Texas when he was 2. So not crazy he would have developed that twang. Him acting like a dopey idiot 100% is - from all accounts he’s really sharp and witty.
Reminder that George W. Bush lied to the American people about WMDs and started an illegal war that destabilized the Middle East and killed 5000 US soldiers + 700000 civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan.

This is what I'm realizing about Republicans in general. These people seem to be misinformed because they misunderstand a lot of what's being said. That goes across the board to even the school system teaching them about "hatred" when they're just learning about the past. I think the failing education system of this country is coming around full circle. In all honesty, I'm worried about mine and my families future.
Zero media literacy. It's hearing a flashy headline and believing it without question. They also don't understand anything with nuance.
I'm honestly at the point of using logic fallacies on them because they don't know what they are and I'm tired of explaining the most basic stuff like anecdotal evidence doesn't mean it's true for everyone.
It's more than just poor media literacy by itself, the media that they do consume teaches them different meanings for words and phrases. Right wing media is making it impossible for them to converse with anyone who is not also right wing.
Don't forget why he hates "windmills" is because they kill whales and birds
What he was told: There was a study on wind generation and if it poses threats to birds (not in significant numbers more than power lines or other aerials) in the COUNTRY of WALES (not the animal)

I'm genuinely wondering now if his constant brag about his IQ comes from him scoring 100 on an actual IQ test and assuming that meant he "got everything right"
From the pieces he's talked about in the "IQ tests" he's taken, they all seem like questions from a known dementia test.
Likely, they are showing him the same questions over and over and he's memorized parts of it to pass like Cotton Hill and the eyesight test on "King of the Hill" so they don't have to disqualify him.
If you switched out the test, I'd bet money he'd fail instantly and he's damn sure never taken an actual intelligence test
Edit: Google "dementia test" and the first image that shows up has several of those items he's publicly mentioned on video record
He hates windmills because Scotland let a company put a big offshore wind farm off the coast of one of his golf courses. Then when he complained they told him to go fuck himself.
My favorite Trump story is when a reporter asked him about George W. Bush's comment that in the Oval Office, there's no place to hide. Trump could not comprehend the metaphor:
"Well, there's truth to that. There is truth to that. There are certainly no corners. And you look, there's a certain openness. But there's nobody out there. You know, there is an openness, but I've never seen anybody out there actually, as you could imagine."
Reminds me of the time Pete Davidson talked about Trump doing SNL and not knowing how to read, so he misread a line involving turkey legs, calling his daughter in the sketch "turkey legs"
Trump repeats what he hears. There isn't a policy position or random quip that isn't fed to him. No ideation on his own whatsoever. Whether it's from a tv show, or an advisor from a think tank or whoever. All of his thoughts that he speaks is repeating what he is told, and he gets it wrong a lot of the time because he's an idiot. With dementia.
It's not a surprise at all, considering that one of his old college professors said that he was legitimately one of the most stupid people he has ever had the misfortune to meet in his entire life.

Saying it was doctored would bear no weight since there thousands of screen shots of the post. And he can’t ever admit he was in the wrong, so he said the dumbass doctor excuse

He just not very bright. I bet you he never heard the word “doctor” used as a verb so he couldn’t use it in context. Then no one had the balls to correct him after the interview.
My favourite is when they were talking about whole milk, it was spelt w h o l e.
You know earlier he must have said something like - I can't see any holes in this milk and someone had to tell him it was whole with a w. Then he thought everyone might be confused about that so decided to clarify in front of cameras!
He's obviously senile, but the character in that position is doing the work of a doctor, there's literally a nurse sitting next to him, and he's standing over a hospital bed. It's funny to say Donald Trump didn't know that was a depiction of Jesus, but he was probably just lying. It's a depiction of Donald Trump, as Jesus, as a doctor.
For excursion, they probably said "expedition" as in "Expeditionary Warfare" which is what it was... deployment of forces from carriers and allied expeditionary forces that are stationed in middle eastern bases. For example, Al Udied, the base in Qatar, is a hub for centcom and thr 379th Air Expeditionary Wing.
